They can't, Marvel will sue them. They see it as a meme. Otherwise they would have also named Morb's awakening ability or sp3 as Morbin' time.

Is saying it verbally in a live stream the same thing as having it in official marketing or in-game material? I would think that the rules are different but then again, the live streams are sort of an official marketing thing arent they?

its all part of the back room deals between marvel and sony.
marvel are restricted in what the can and can't do with property owned by sony.
if MCOC was to say and use "it's morbin time" they would have to pay sony extra.
