Wow - Silk really is a BG monster

Just pulled her on Monday. Awaken, sigged, and R4’d her on Tuesday. Spent about 20 mins figuring her out yesterday. I’ve used her in 2 BG matches so far and wow…




And lets be clear - I’m not a super great player, so if I can figure her out…definitely needs a relic for full potential though.

    I think my record was taking down a 7 star mangog in like 21 seconds with my R4. It’s hit or miss if they ban her, but they’re catching on.

    I’ll be taking her to R5 next. She’s even more insane in other modes when you combine her with Shocker (who is getting buffed). The Hulk relic burst damage triggers constantly because of the ruptures being applied.

    Yes I’ll admit I’m considering her as my next science R5. Going to be a tough call between her and Scorpion, but she may win.

    Haha fair enough @DrZola - I’ll admit I was so blown away by her performance that I couldn’t restrain myself. I’d seen other threads saying that she isn’t all that, is hard to use, etc - maybe that is all a smoke screen.

    You got it down pat my dude. Hulk was my first awakened 5 star relic, and I’ve got it at r3 (soon to be r4) just for Silk. She’s def close to being my next r5, but I’m waiting to see how Morbius turns out, and he’ll go straight to r2. Otherwise, Silk it is!

    Interesting. I haven't ranked mine yet but I recently pulled a 6* Hulk relic that I didn't know who to give. Very interesting.

    I will admit she’s got a few weaknesses—for example, you have to play around the heavy-falter node in the SQ on Mojo. Just like with Chavez, Herc can’t be stunned mid-combo once you’ve knocked him down. And she doesn’t have immunities, so there’s a limitation on effectiveness even if she finishes fast (no iBom, e.g.).

    I like the combo into heavy mechanic (Chavez is also R2 for me) because it’s pretty unique, outside of Wasp and pre-change Shulk.

    Shes great for bgs when she doesnt get banned which mine does a lot but for eq shes a monster for especially when its spider node eq

    That’s exactly why I’m hesitant to ascend her lol. People are catching on fast now because she pretty much makes any mystic defender useless. She also trivializes a lot of other annoying defenders like Fantman with the sp3 rotation. Got 60 second fights with 100% health even in class neutral fights at r4.
