7 for 7: Team diversity for a path

Just finished the 7.1 objectives in 7 for 7 quest. Will mostly do one chapter a day here on.

My usual team was this for 7.1.1 to 7.1.5 with not much challenges:

But 7.1.6 was fun for me, i took the path which expected XL champs for no glacing and ice phoenix as boss which needed coldsnap immunity so thankfully i had this team:

Sassy beat ice phoenix and rest did well on path. Terrax is L not XL but didn't use him anyways. So was happy that such combination was possible with my 7* roster.

Comment any such unique teams apart from your go to team that challenged diversity of your 7* roster and best suited for a particular path and you were thankful to have them as 7*. I think that was the point of 7 for 7 to challenge the diversity of 7* roster.

This post is more about my failures/learning experiences:

Wiccan has been great so far for paths where they gain buffs, but he totally failed due to RNG against Venom boss (who started the fight with 2 armor buffs) and got quickly KO'd from the bleed.
Gambit did surprisingly well against Venom boss, as he essentially just freely healed from the bleed debuffs. But he surprisingly didn't do well on the paths that provide Mutant champions with prowess, as he was doing surprisingly little damage on average with his specials.
G2099 at 100+ hit combo doesn't seem to make up for damage reduction from Protection type nodes, so in my opinion is not a 'counter' for those paths as the fight is just tedious.
Emma Frost has been a let down as it is hard to maintain her utility (immunities), as you even take too much damage while using a special to switch back. I am starting to regret taking her instead of Ebony Maw from the selector.
Shuri is someone I thought would have a better showing so far, but so far at least in act 7.1, there are enough things that hard counter her (whether it be lack of immunities, shock immunity, or other). But, I am expecting her to do well somewhere in the rest of Act 7.
IMIW has been useful. His jack of all trade, master of none type kit works when players have a limited roster. This is especially useful as most players 7-star roster is small.
Joe Fixit, surprisingly, has been my go to MVP. He can do a good amount of damage, heal back a decent chunk, and has utilities with his debuffs.

I went the power shield recharge lane with gwenmaster, used chavez the whole lane. 1 sp2 in blue mode heals her like 50 percent and gorr takes gwenmaster sooooo easily.

Just another suggestion for those who are stuck

In all seriousness I enjoyed black panther and dragon man a lot on the flare path in 7.1.1. Joe fixit took care of Yondu boss with only sp3 then focus on clubs. Haven't played more paths so might add more later on.

Vision is my MVP for act 7 challenges, great counter to evade nodes and champs, two sp3s with rapid power gains and the fight is mostly over

Bishop for the Blaze/Power Shield path is cheese. The first fight, you'll lose some health because you have to build to the SP2. It's a one shot. Then, every fight after that, he starts with 2 bars of power...5 second fights

Shuri has cheesed so much for me. I’m on chapter 2 and she has taken 70% of fights. Falcon is great and dman and sassy can do a lot..., and don’t even get me started on bishop

I dropped Recoils for the first time in ages for this and am having lots of fun with my r2 Maw.

Just did Gwenmaster fight. Had forgotten how fun it is. Did the mix master lane which i couldn't have done without Falcon. He makes it look easy. To my surprise, venom also does well on this path. He gives armour breaks on sp1 which inflict coldsnap and opponents don't evade.
