When OP posted I was very much in the quest so it did, I entered the quest 6 minutes before reset. They released it early

That's probably the way it's designed, they should be in 4 Quests of 2,500 shards each. Total: 10,000.

His screenshot does say 10k though, so he just must’ve taken it too early before they went back and fixed it to 2.5k shards

Yeah I had no idea they changed it so I was surprised to see it not be 10K too

In all fairness though, kabam could have easily left it at 10k per. Relics aren't game changing or anything. And it's not 6* relic shards so.....

I'm pretty sure, maybe someone else can confirm and I'm wrong and a big dumdum but the post was last edited 1 minute after reset. And I'm pretty sure I remember it saying 10K a bit earlier today

Yeah I went and double checked too and the post was definitely edited 1 minute after 8.3 released

I thought we were about to be swimming in 5* relics. 2.5k shards is disappointing af, might as well change them to 6* relic shards at that point

Less sig stones, the change from rank up crystals instead of catalysts and now an immense nerf to 5* relic....it seems like kabam's change to 3 paths instead of 6 came with a nerf in rewards -.-

It's funny how they fixed the t4 alpha without a word then changed their post from 10k to 2.5 instead without a word. This is kinda shady and funny tbh.

For what reason do you think I pinned a screenshot from an old version of this post? When 8.3 was released, there was still an old post, without update. And again, no any apologies from Kabam for inconvenience. They did say that relics are cooler than we think. But now it seems like they don’t really care, that we receive 4 times less rewards than we were promised earlier.
