Thoughts on Potion Update
WinterFields
With the recent update on potions, are you satisfied with Kabam's proposed changes?
Personally, I never spend units on potions, so these changes mean nothing to me

I feel like Kabam just focuses on the unit offers, which makes sense to an extent to drive potential revenue. I would have liked to see a persistent trade in option as well. We are going to continue to get lower level options from content and I think being able to trade them in for higher level potions would be nice…especially in AW/AQ where you have item limits. There’s no way ill use 15 L1 health potions in either of those game modes so I just end up selling them.

Absolutely never using the quick heal mechanic. I just know it's going to take the more rare or high level potions first

It’s not a potion update, it’s a potion cost update.

I'm not so much concerned with the cost of potions so much as how many potions we have to use to heal. The fact that 500 health AW potions even exist is a bit silly.
However, the main thing that concerns me is the "quick heal" option that will let you one-button press to "convert units to health." There better be some redundant protections available in the UI, because I can see many people hitting this on accident and spending units when they don't mean to.

I'm not excited about it. My main point of interest was AQ. I am very disappointed that they stated costs will be lower but not by much. They didn't state if they'll have level 5 health pots for glory or not. Revs and Pots are way overpriced for what they provide in return in addition to only having 15 total items to use. I really don't like that there wasn't something more done for AQ especially with revives.

I didn't know people used potions once Herc was introduced.

Our thoughts were pretty clearly and evidentally expressed in the original post by Kabam.

We all know % based potions would be a long term (if not permanent) solution to health potions economy.
But also this would affect units consumption economy drastically.
Most probably the reason, they hesitated to go with the % based approach.
