My first titan crystal!

Wanted Silk or Photon the most, but this is great too. I’ve haven’t heard much about him in terms of how good he is, but the animations alone are worth it.

I managed to scrape together enough 7* shards and got a lucky dupe on Falcon, so I was able to open mine. Really wanted Silk but got Lady Deathstrike

Sorry to hear that. With the non-buff she’s getting, I know that’s disappointing.

I wound up with Jabari, who is ok from a Basic and great from a Paragon, but not what you’d wish from a Titan.

Got him aswell, sadly he gains a lot of damage from the sig ability, however even unawakened he’s very strong. Love the undermine on sp1 and the damage is honestly already decent, but I’d love to get him awakened 💪

Thanks everyone! Yeah I’ve been using him a bit and he has some really great damage and nice utility. The sig ability does look amazing to have but I doubt I’ll dupe him for a while lol

Lady D is cool, but I think she really wants the dupe. A tune up on her would’ve be nice but she’s still solid.

Yes, I really like him. Recently took mine to r2 after 8.3. He's a lot of fun to play and has really strong degen damage. Moreover, he can choose when to deal damage. If you have a limited window to do so in - if there's a Protection node, for example - he can deal a ton of damage in that window and then "recall" it for later use. Plus really potent both miss and autoblock counter abilities that can remain active 100% of the time after you've launched your first SP1 (to counter autoblock) or SP2 (to counter miss). He can also absolutely cheese some fights.

I'm gathering some clips from both Story and BG content right now but I'll probably have a post up in a while where I showcase some of what he can do.

For now, I'll just leave this short little video of the Act 7.3.2 Old Man Logan boss. It's not a damage showcase but rather a video about just how easy a falter-heavy fight becomes if you just lock down that utility. As you can see, as soon as I reach my SP2, the fight becomes a cakewalk and I don't have to worry about the Arrogance node ever again.

I get what you're saying but it's not really a matter of the degen falling off too quickly. They can do an enormous amount of damage during the time they are active. You just need to know how to ramp him (and them) up.

The trick is to build up as many buffs as possible before throwing your first special. This then converts all buffs into degen on the opponent, which you then let tick while you build up to another special attack, and then throw that special just before the degens expire. That way, you convert all of the degen back into Intensify buffs that increase the potency of your other buffs. Then, the next time you throw a special attack, you convert all of your existing buffs + the intensify buffs into degen on the opponent. The more of this back-and-forth you manage to do, the more damage you will do both with and without the degen active. You can basically just spam SP1s and soon you'll do a lot of damage.

However, it's quite tricky to keep this loop going if you also want to keep the miss counter from the SP2 going constantly. It might be easier when he's awakened. Mine isn't but the sig ability looks like it would help extend the duration of the degens enough for a bit smoother play.

Finally, it's also worth pointing out that these degens become 10% stronger for every second they have been ticking on the opponent. They can start off looking rather unimpressive and then grow stronger and stronger over time.
