BG progression nigh impossible

Reached Diamond 1 couple of days ago. I've won 2 fights out of about 20 since.
Ridiculous matchmaking.
90% of my opponents champs have a higher PI than my top champ.
I've had some where even their lowest was higher than my top camp.
Impossible to make any progress.
Running my own Alliance and for the first time I feel like quitting the game.

To climb and be considered among the best, you must beat the best.
Yeah, just what Kabam said.
But I‘m playing since 2018 almost every single day earning all the stuff from Events and Story, so I have a pretty advanced account (3.2 million total rating).
Tho I was super lazy/busy in real life and just became Paragon this year during Legend‘s Event (had like 3x the necessary R4s, but never finished Act 7).
But I agree, facing opponents like me in Platinum/Diamond and getting stomped hard is one reason for all these BG complaint threads. It‘s okay to focus on other content tho (Carina 7 for 7, Act 8.3 exploration, monthly EQ/SQ) … so I got even stronger to do BG Season now. I‘m not loosing on purpose (I’m not loosing at all lol) … so that’s legit.
Arrange your guys and gals accordingly. Get some outrageous defenders like Abs or Aarkus up and go have fun dude.
To the OP, @Cuchulainn, right now you are facing everyone who is trying to get to GC, as you should be just like everyone else. If you have a weaker roster, most of them will be stronger than you. But tomorrow, the competition will be weaker, because most the strongest of them will promote upward. And the next day the competition will be weaker again. At some point, you should see the competition get weak enough to see a noticeable difference in your match opponents’ strength. You just need to keep playing occasionally and see when it shifts enough. If it never does, that just means you did in fact hit your ceiling, but almost no one hits their ceiling in the first two weeks of the season. My recommendation is go for milestones every two days, and keep an eye on how strong the competition is. You still have time.
People of your size are littered all thought the VT and GC, just like those who have bigger rosters and those who have smaller rosters.
