When to start opening only Featured 6 star crystals?

I am around 175 6* champs and have been opening only 6 star basics chasing the unicorns I can’t find for my account (scorpion, Shang chi, QS, Masacre). Is there a time to switch to featured and forget it? Or are the additional 7star shards from dupes at a lower shard cost too valuable?

Unless you have really bad luck you’ll only need to open a small amount of featured crystals to get who you’re looking for then you can switch back to dual crystals

6* Nexus are quite common now to find the missing desired Champs.

I would only open Featured anymore until you got majority of new Champs, then save for the next.

I would switch to featured for the current set because Silk, Lady Deathstrike and others are worth the investment. Next set of featured looks very average, you can switch back to basic then and go for the ones you want.

However, considering the number of 6* you already own, your best bet going forward are selectors and nexus crystals. The basics will only help with the 7* shards
