If you do not do BG a lot but you are in an alliance that does, you may have stockpiled a lot of Elder Marks. That's this currency:
When you do a Battlegrounds match, separate from the rewards intrinsic to the game mode itself, you score points for a solo event. When you use energy to do a match, you get 375 points just for playing that match, and an additional 750 points if you win. But if you use elder marks, you get 2250 points for participation and 4500 more points if you win. There are very good rewards in the upper milestones this month, from 350k to 450k points. With energy, that's hundreds of matches. With Elder Marks, that is between 67 and 200 matches depending on your win rate. If you have enough marks and you're willing to grind a ton, it is still technically possible to reach the top milestone. It would take a ton of effort over the next few days, but it is possible.
They might also just want you to score points for the alliance-wide version of these milestones. If you are in an alliance that focuses in part on Battlegrounds, they could just be encouraging you to do as much as possible.
If you are not going to shoot for the top tier milestones, I would suggest saving your elder marks and waiting for the next one. Kabam seems to be giving these boosted milestone rewards every few BG seasons. Wait for the next one, when you have lots of time, and then burn your elder marks in that season to score as many points as possible to try to get to the highest milestone rewards. Then save the marks and only use energy (if you're going to participate at all) until the next big milestone season comes around.
