Hey Summoners,From the gameteam: "We're aware that the BG event ended at 9am PST rather than 10, the event ran its full, regular duration so we will not be taking action on it."To the best of my knowledge, I believe this is the result of daylight savings time messing with the in-game timers.Additionally, the team investigated to see if there was a way to extend the event an hour, and couldn't do so without breaking it in different (and worse) ways. This didn’t end on the hour. Maybe the event did, I wasn’t focused on that. I was still playing matches at 12:30 eastern time trying to get to GC and started getting errors before 1pm eastern time.

I don’t know what is going but somethings not right . It’s not displaying a timer now. It also bumped me from Uru in the GC to…. Vibranium in the victory track after a win so that’s messed up.
When you try to enter you get this message. With only an hour and a half left to get the finish the final level you do this to us Kabam?
The timer still showed more time to play, but what’s more is that we were locked out before 1 pm et.
Following up:I chatted more with the game team some more and here's additional insight into what happened. The timer on the battlegrounds game mode was marked to expire at 9am PT for the entirety of the season. The timer expired and the game mode was removed, as usual. The Solo/Alliance Events usually have an additional hour of safety built in on the clock, on either side of the event, to make sure it's up and running before the season/matchmaking starts. When the team saw the clock end before 10am (the usual end time, thank you daylight savings) they tried to extend the timers, which didn't work and just caused further issues. In summary, everything ended appropriately and all Summoners had an active and accurate timer on the game mode.Screenshots with extra time on the clock but matchmaking didn't work, were likely taken in the moment the game team pushed out the timer.
Don’t make excuses for a game team that can’t put out a game mode that works properly as intended without the constant bugs, dropped inputs, wrong timers, screen errors( whats on the screen is not what the game sees), ect. We grinded hard all season, used numerous resources and spend a good amount of our free time trying to get that final level because Kabam stated that if you miss out on a shadow piece it will be extremely costly to acquire. While yes i should have maybe spent more time grinding but with like a 95% loss rate due to constant mismatches i got to the final level i would need to to get that piece. Had an aunts funeral that took a good portion of this past week from grinding so was trying to not let all the resources i used go to waste trying to acquire it last minute hoping that the harder players had moved on. It is also very apparent that when you use victory shields to try to not to go back losses that the matchmaking makes sure to match you up with the hardest available opponent. Almost every victory shield used resulted in an opponent that had almost every 7 star in the game currently. Every time i used one this would happen. With just energy and no shield it would be closer to an even match up. So yes we are frustrated that Kabam can not do anything correct without the constant bugs and mess ups

I know you’re just passing on what you were told but is still not an accurate description of what happened. This screenshot was 11:54 Eastern showing 18 mins to go:This was taken at 12:09 eastern at the end of what I though was my last match:This was taken at 12:10 eastern showing over an hour left on the event timer. This was at 12:54 eastern when I was getting errors and unable to do any more matches:I played several matches between 12:10 and 12:54 pm.I just want to make sure the team really looks at this because the response you gave isn’t matching my experience and some of the other screenshots in this thread at various other times.

Your screenshot from the Solo Event: as he said, this one had 1 hour more than BG mode itself for the past 4 weeks alreadyYour very last screenshot: it must be from after Kabam has manipulated/tried to expand the timer
Actually is said 1 hour and 4 mins when erroring out in background.
The two recent pics here which were *before* noon EST (different people, saying they were from 8:17am and 11:54am both EST) showed similar “original” ending times of either 11 or 12 minutes after Noon.Might have originally had some “padded” extra time to account for time you might still be in progress of a final match, allowing you to finish such match. So the “well, it never ended exactly at noon anyways” may have been because of a designed little “extra” time on the original timer.Does anyone have pic of the Timer (and noted time you took it) going back several days ago, to see whether the extra 11-12 minutes had always been on the timer .
