Is ascending r4 Aegon worth for only completion Necropolis?

Im planning to use Aegon 6*r4 and Wiccan 7*r2 as my main champs for necropolis.
I wont r5 him, because i need the ressources, ranking other champs.
But is ascending worth the completion run, or should i rather use the dust on champs i use more frequently in AW and BG?
How many more revives will i probably spend, if i dont ascend him?

    The rewards are good enough to only use him there. You can ascend also another champ and it’s really fun to use him. You can use him also in abyss then 🥸

    It’s actually easy to quantify. If the damage is 20% more then the revive count should roughly be 20% less. At approx 50 revives per lane on average acension will save roughly 60 revives in total for exploration. I would rather farm the extra revives and ascend someone else I use in my BG deck like Fury, Kingpin, Ghost, Doom that won’t be made in 7* for years. It even hurts to use the R5 gem on him as he will benched for another 3 years after this

    I said no just because it doesn't make sense to ascend a champ you're not going to r5.

    If you plan on exploring necropolis anytime soon, it is worth to ascend him and do the r5 gem path and r5 him.

    So another rank will save him like 20-30 revives a path times 6 for 120-180 less revives. Sounds like it's worth it to rank and ascend.

    I will be waiting to do this until I can R5 and ascend Aegon, he's already R3 sig 200. There is so much stuff in necro that he will be worth it. I barely spend on this game, usually just on plat track goodies, so saving units and resources will also help for the unit hoarding for July 4th, Black Friday and banquet.

    Catalysts and ascension dust will keep flowing in for me to do other champs.
