This is the only mmo mobile game I've ever played. Do other games generally deal with crashes at the rate of this one?

Honest answers, not emotional.

    No. In all other mobile games I’ve played not one has even crashed more than once if at all. The crashes are usually resolved quickly and do not ever happen again.
