Are ppl getting more matchups with 7* when building a streak??

Usually when I building a streak in arena I'm going into the first 5 matches with 5*R1 and then from matches 6 to 15, I just my best top champs to carry me through.
Now, I'm seeing much more matches with 7* (even dealt with masetro on 2 occasions).

    As rosters get stronger the teams you face get stronger with it.

    You gotta adjust your arena run accordingly.

    I'm fully aware of that playing the last 4 years.
    As paragon, my roster is more or less the same. I was grinding the previous arena with what I've been doing. And now grinding today is whole new thing.
    I'm asking if ppl in general are facing much more 7* stars than previously before, in case, I'm seeing it by match 5 on onwards as opposed to later matches.

    Its not just your roster though. Yours may have stayed the same, but others are getting stronger, passing you by.

    I have reached 7.5m milestone and obtain 4-Star Chee’ilth. Played with 6-Star R1 from match 21 onwards. Did not see opponents with 7-Star (I chose the easiest difficulty).

    I understand, It seem so abrupt, a quick change of the opponents from 6* to more 7*. Just hitting you in the face now that everyone's pushing towards getting a roster of 7*.

    I went back to my old method of using 5" R1 till I reach matches 9 or 10 and then switch over to my top rank champs to carry me through pass 15. I was able to start a streak, currently at 25.
    Just have to adapt a bit, now that ppl are getting more 7*.

    I have definitely noticed a change in getting thanos/kang matches later.

    My formula:
    1-5: 5R3
    6-8: 6R5 (this is where it changed, I fight 7R2 or 7R3 here now)
    9-15: 7R2, 7R1 and 6R4

    I don't touch 6 stars in this arena anymore, just run 7s as they refresh

    The top rated teams available have changed, as a full team of 7r3 is available for spending/necro explorers. So, yes, the math has changed for getting to the streak.

    Though it hasn't changed the lowest teams I use after 21, though.

    yeah access to r3 7* means the strongest arena teams are stronger now than they were before Necropolis/Cyber Weekend. Also just more 7* in circulation so you’ll probably see them more often as r1/r2 on other teams.

    Yup, I just mentioned this exact same thing on LINE this morning with the other officers in my alliance.

    Something definitely seems to have changed between the Kushala Featured and this one, as I never had any trouble running off unbroken win streaks from Round 1 through getting the last milestone before, and I’ve lost three streaks at Round 11 this time out, each time to teams of duped 7r2 Bishop, Shuri, and X (usually Sassy).

    Starting yesterday I get a "death match" which is really just a round that takes a long time and you have to pay attention to, using my very last team of 6*r1 which is Rhino, captain America, and captain marvel, I get matched against a full team of 7*r3. The first time I didn't notice and got destroyed my first round but paid attention and won the last 2. The second time going through my 6* it happened again, so it's definitely the PI minimum changed with the recent influx of 7*r3.

    I hit the 7-Stars (2 R3 and 1 R2) on streak 58 using 3 6-Stars R1 (finally :( ).

    I got a team of Domino, Shuri and Titania 7*R3 in round 6. I won… just.
    Round 7 was Bishop, Kingpin and Domino, again all 7*R3. I lost.

    I’ve finally just hit 7.5m but it wasn’t easy like it was pre 7*.

    If you fought a 7*r3 kingpin you have bigger problems than your streak

    6* top down until I run out of R3

    Repeat.

    Gets me to 12m without really trying.
