Last year buying + opening gbc gave points around 3300 & this year is 2800 & also the units cost to get all solo milestones is doubled as well.
Not to forget, alliance event milestones having frags like 1 3rd of catalysts are just slap on face compared to last year.

It looks like we went back & definitely not on par as well.

Just as I expected. Often said that when people complained about Cyber Week … expectations are just too high (and Kabam mentioned in Livestream R3 from Cyber Week as only extra way to reach Valiant this year).

So it was kinda obvious that Cyber Week > Banquet. Save your Units.

!!!All calculation is done with the cost of 300 units per GBC!!!
Last year it took ~5025 units to get the top milestone at 100.000 points.
If you compare to this years event, 5025 units+free units and the free crystals will get you to the T6 Basic Catalyst Milestone
I put an image below, comparing last years milestones with this years milestones.
(Red=Same as last year, Yellow=Increase in amount, Green=New)

All of the 'New' stuff you only get if you spend more than the 5025 units, you had to spend last year

Just checked the last year's post, it was 4k points in total, for buying(3k) and opening(1k) a GBC. The last solo milestone was at 100k.

Thanks for correcting. Now that we have a actual number. We can clearly see the difference & what a downgrade it is from last year to this one.

Yeah its 39 900 at 2100 pts per crystal. Assuming you dont get 700 because you didnt buy them

700 points for opening them, times that by the 19 crystals, and you get 13300

But my numbers were slightly off so I suggest looking at my updated post about it

1. BANQUET 2022- for opening a gbc point was 1000 and buying was 3000.
Total for buying and opening 1 gbc was 4000 points.

This year it got reduced to 2800. Greed has a limit, just fyi.

Milestones for solo event last year was at 1,00k This year increased to 117k.

2. REWARDS- are too underwhelming. Gbc drops 750 7 star shards? What's the difference from legend crystals then? Not even close to 300 units of worth. Lots of worse materials still not removed from gbc either.. when the game is progressing so fast why 300 units worth of item still has t2 alpha t5 basic and 6 star sig stone crystal?

3.MILESTONE REWARDS? 6 star awakening gem, which we get almost every month, are at such high price for banquet. Who will spend 7 8k units to get 6 star awakening gem like milestones in the current state of game? Alliance milestone is full of low tier rewards, fragments of t3a and t6b are just laughable. All this genuinely again and again raises the question does kabam even play their own game? If yes this wouldn't have been the milestones.

This is Probably the worst of all the banquet or gifting event we had so far.
What we gonna get from holiday gift a 6 star rank 3 gem now? In this meta?😂😂

Top 1% in solo ranked gets 1,000 Titan shards. LOL. This is ridiculous bro spend $1,000 to get 1/5 of the rewards you could buy 2 weeks ago for $100. The math ain’t mathing

I found a proven player lol. Bro, the pts have been lowered for buying and opening GBCs. It’s a lot more than what you calculated, almost double.

That are rather dissapointing rewards, I didn't accumulate my Units for something like this... I at least expected greater Alliance rewards that are better than the Solo ones as it was greatly emphasized that being in an Alliance is useful in this event. Also there should be at least a bit of Titan Shards in the Solo or Alliance milestones, I'm not demanding much but 5000 Shards wouldn't hurt.

No, as i said, if you spend 5025 units (the amount you had to pay last year), you get to the milestone at 67200 points. To get all the milestones you have to pay about 9300 units

Yeah as everyone has said, this is really bad, holds very little value to players, especially those Thronebreaker and above.

Perhaps kabam is making a really crappy 9th season to make their 10th anniversary seem better, because you KNOW when that rolls around people are going to be saying "that's it?" but now they'll be saying "well, at least it is better than last year!"

The Rank Rewards are kind of confusing.

Do people on 1-3% get the 1% Row stuff, people 3-5% get the 3% row .... and then 75-100% get the 75% row while the 100% only get 100% row? Or is it supposed to be interpreted another way: 1% gets the 1% Row stuff, and 1-3% get the 3% row .... and then the 75-100% get the 100% row?

I understand that it is "free" stuff up until some milestones. But to "subtly" make non-spenders pay twice as many units to just reach all milestones is a very dirty move. Not even mentioning that rank rewards after top 90 are just pathetic for any big spender in this game. It's just disrespectful.

Agreed—but I wouldn’t be that let down if there was an abundance of R5/ascension stuff (there isn’t ).

At least I could bump some 6*’s I refuse to use cats on in favor of my 7*’s.
