Platpool Anime Reference Incursion Question

So the corrected event will come on 10th. I have 6 7* platpool pieces, all of those i got recently, 2 from track rewards and 4 from selling 5* and 6* platpool pieces.

So since i need just one more piece, i got a thought if i should go for top rank rewards. I don't mean #1 but sufficient to get a selector. This is the first time this event is based on incursion and not arena. Was curious what could the top scores be. I don't want to slog for 8 days straight, would be fine with collecting more units for banquet, but still wondering should i have a go.

I have ran some calculations with the correct point system. 82 of my champs are eligible for sec 6. I also see that doing zone 25 once a day for 8 days gives 392800. I can reach zone 25 only with Herc but it's not guaranteed.

Could you suggest any strategies? Is it a wise idea to grind this event for rank rewards? Should i tell my stupid mind to stop these thoughts?

i personally don’t think platpool is worth grinding for at all. he’s pretty useless

Upon some thinking, i see top rewards in this event would be for the Petyrs who can do zone 25 daily with multiple teams and it's easier for them. I don't fit that category if i can only do it with Herc and be uncertain due to nodes and doing it daily won't be fun

I didn’t even know you could sell 5 and 6* pieces - how do you do that and what do you get?

you can sell them from the inventory screen, and you get the plat pool crystals from the current platinum track thing, the ones that look like t4cc crystals and drop a random selector
