I mean Kabam, you cant be serious an lock the good rewards behind spending a ton, we use to get the good ones for normal spending, the awesome rewards were for the big money, also the ideea of different rewards for progression title is actually fair, people have been logging in for more than 3 or 4 years with some for up to 9 years every day and now they share the same pool of rewards as someone new? Reward loyalty please, they kept the game alive!

As a paragon, extremely disappointing event. Banquet is something we look forward to and the rewards are meh at least for Paragon and above
6* Abby's crystal used to be the "most wanted" crystal in game till last year maybe, and it was in banquet
In that sense, there should have been one 7* Titan crystal in Banquet milestones. Also the amount of 7* shards and Titan shards one could possibly get from GGC are just too low. Rankup materials are also very less

Realy hope this is a joke. I’m looking for 7* r2/r3 materials not 6* stuff. 10k + units I have but rewards totaly not worth it. Change it for progression based. This feels like 2021 rewards for tronebreakers not paragons/valiant .

As a new tb and rising paragon(i guess) I kinda find this event mid. I mean like I need Some r4 mats because I do not even have my 1st r4 yet!. But other people are focused on 7* now and I am sort of making my way there. So please change the rewards and make this right/reasonable.

It’s a joke alright, just like the whole event is a joke, the comedian from the Watchmen will love it.

You can go out an look at the rewards last year on YouTube, they pretty much barely changed. Last year I hit 3% on the solo event, I think it was like 20k units or so, and the rewards this year are almost the same. All the rewards are geared toward thronebreaker or lower, I mean I don’t know if I am going to spend a $ or a unit on this event as bad as the solo event is the Alliance event is even worse. Really there is nothing good about if your are paragon or higher. It is a slap in the face. I’m tired of people defending if you don’t like don’t participate, Kabam is trying to balance blah blah blah. You can’t basically copy and pace the same rewards more or less, from the year before, when you are the ones that started the arms race by introducing 7*s, had great 7/4 progression reward event, titan crystals, adding ascension, R3s, and Valiant in a short time frame and the expect people to be happy with rewards that were OK, not great last year. I mean it is super Lazy and a slap in the face to a large part of the community and I do spend solid money on the game so I’m frustrated massively that the rewards aren’t significantly better. But again I’ve seen this as their M.O. in the past 8 years where they do something really out of touch and then act like what, its great, everyone should be thrilled.

I understand your point and agree to an extent—but most of the criticism isn’t aimed at Banquet giving a pathway to R3 7* or Valiant. The event looks very similar to last year and even seems to emphasize 6* acquisition over 6* progression. For many veteran players, that’s no longer the game they are playing, especially after the team decided to introduce 7*’s over the past year.

As an example, there are quite a few posts asking why there are more AGs in milestones instead of things like dust, or R4 gems or materials to R5 6* or even more significant amounts of 7* shards.

That’s where the game is, not just where it’s headed. It’s important to remember that the team introduced 7*’s and everything else over the past year—Summoners just play the game that gets put before them. We don’t even own our own accounts.

Miike asked for actionable suggestions. Plenty have been provided. History suggests nothing will happen other than the usual “we’ve heard you, the team will look at it for the next time” blandishments. In my time zone, there are about 4.5 hours before things start up, so we will see if any of the several reasonable suggestions get implemented before things go live.

I think people are looking at those rewards tables as 100% vs 100%, not as the number of milestones, which is how they really should be looked at.

Additionally, these Crystals have better rewards than the last year's crystals.

Of course, we can't compare last year's event to this one directly; there's been a lot of changes in the Game, with the addition of 7 Stars, Ascension, and higher ranks, but that doesn't mean that we are going to go crazy with all of those materials. There are a lot of comments on wanting more 7-Star Shards or Rank 3 Materials (we were explicit with where you can expect to get the first available R3 7-Stars), and while I understand where you're coming from, nobody wants to live in a world where we burn through 7-Stars in a year and need to introduce 8-Stars in 2024. There will always be taps that are opened slowly, otherwise we end up burning through content and that's not good for the game.

I appreciate all of your feedback, but if you have something a bit more actionable or precise as to why you're upset, I would love to take that to the team for future consideration. I want to understand, so we can improve for the future.

Jus my 2 cents on this. I'm very happy with having to buy gifting crystals myself and open them. It's way better than having to find players to trade/exchange with. I'm also not bothered with all the solo and ally milestones and rank rewards.

My only concern is what we are getting from gifting crystals

6* hero shards - 4k, 10k and 15k going along with 6* abyss, 6* nexus and 6* rare champion selector - why do we need so many 6* options?
6* awakening gem crystal and 6* awakening gem - why not jus leave it to 7 awakening gems with the same odds
T5B - 3pcs and 2pcs - why not just leave it to 3 pcs and be done..
T6C - 10%, 20%, 50%, full - why not just 25% and full
Paragon Gifted Guardians crystal - 2 pcs - this is just likely more iso on top of free iso - just remove this pls

My suggestion is

from the 6* hero shards - jus leave it at 7.5k and 15k - bring 4k 7* base and 1800 titan
from the t5b one - jus put a 7* launch pool crystal
from the t6c one - 300k loyalty and 80k incur shards instead

Kabam the main problem is you’re lowering the amount of points you get from opening by a ridiculous amount, and on top of that giving a lot of outdated rewards. Valiant daily crystals can give free 6 stars or t3 alpha etc but they have to pay 300 units for the same value. This seems kind of messed up. The banquet event should be good for everyone, but putting t2 alpha and t4 alpha fragments in the same crystal is insane. Also the solo milestones aren’t that good, in total it gives the same number of t3 alpha and t6 basic as last year. This event would have been insane last year, but with how the game has moved this year is extremely outdated and seems like it’s made for Cavalier players, 4000 6 star shards for 300 units is such a ripoff, anyone Paragon+ has a decent chance of getting that daily. You’ve really done good this year but Kabam, you really dropped the quality on this event

Your logic is misplaced, the central bank already started the issue, in a span of 7 months, they brought out the 7*s, gave us an out of whack rewards 7/4 event as they were greedy. Also provided ascension, R3 options and added valiant I believe too soon. Then dialed back it for cyber weekend and offered basically the same awards as last years banquet event, slightly different. Now we are looking at the event and going, we darn well don’t need t2a, t5b, 5 and 6* materials. If you’re going to have a massive community event make sure it is relevant for the progression problems you created as a company. If it is useless to a large swath of your community then what good it is. I have been playing the game since 2015, I am not FTP and I understand their methods over the years. Even if you’re a whale this isn’t a great event the small amounts of 7* shards and likely low odd drops on t4A don’t make enticing. On top of this they lowered the point values of the GBC so you have to spend 2x the units to reach the solo event max milestones and since the solo event milestone and rank rewards are way out of touch with the reality of the game that THEY created it leaves little incentive for a lot of players to spend money or units. I don’t think it is beyond ridiculous for the event to have higher #s of 7* shards and more R2 materials, I agree R3 materials should be held back. I mean yeah it took them forever to drag out the 6*s, but their greed is what changed expectations drastically I now its like OH the same rewards as last year aren’t good, you mean a 6* nexus isn’t your cup of tea like it was 2 years ago, its a complete joke.
look, i agree with most of this but the damage is already done and we can't dig ourselves out of this hole by asking for the very thing that caused problems in the first place. if it's poor value, ignore the event.

@Kabam Miike forget about the negative folks in the threads. There’s a lot of constructive stuff in the 16 pages of chat. I think you can save the event by having nice rewards with the unit deals and taking the 5 most often cited suggestions and adding it to the event. The take home for me is the milestones are not juicy enough. Progression based is not ideal IMO. But the login calendar was so awesome we kinda expected milestones to be in sync with the login. Maybe a 6R5 for the final alliance milestone and a 7R2 RU gem for the individual milestone even if you have to raise the spending amount. My personal opinion is that I would rather spend 20,000 units to reach a 6R5 or 7R2 than 7,000 for a generic AG.
Now me personally i always get about 1.5M points at the end of the event. But I think people will be happier if the milestones are juicier man. You can still fix this @Kabam Miike

I can, players that are still Cav/TB or below, usually cant allow themselves spend that amount of units on this events since they need them to keep progressing through the game, either masteries, revives, or whatever the have to spend on, so usually the amount of units used by them on this events are low, so probably most of them wont pass X milestone unless those are spender, which, in this case, are not likely to be lower than Paragon.

The rewards may be either the same or slightly better than last year. But the game economy changed so much that the rewards didn't keep up. It's relative. Therefore the awards are worse than last year.

Right you should be able to do that minimum if the “tiny lunch event” just keep up with the game progression from the solo event rewards and/or rank rewards but you won’t be able to with this event unless you buy a ton of crystals. This is a realistic expectation, basic at best, giving the same rewards almost as last year and ignoring the last year of changes in the game are a joke.
