Werewolf x night has reduced power gain??

How is he's a MYSTIC with a -30% power gain rate??

What am I seeing rght now? *rubs eyes* Am I reading this right??

I wanted to type this out just to try to make sense of it lol

I know he gains power when he dex back and howls, but that can be easily interrupted when he's hit. Seems like that would further reduce his power gain.

Has anyone used him on Defense yet? How has he been?

Haven't placed him on defense yet cause this meta has sucked for mystic defenders but on offense it's not a bad thing at all, the power gain is decent and it definitely makes up for it. As a matter of fact, I would argue it makes him even better for multiple reasons:
1. It doesn't slow you down when AI decides to be a **** and refuses to throw specials, you just keep gaining your power regardless lol no wasted time.
2. You can use him like Valk for hazard shift nodes since you don't need to hit the defender to gain power.

Actually quite a few Mystic champions have reduced power gain:
Sorcerer Supreme -70%
Symbiote Supreme -100%
Dr strange -100%
Dragon Man -35%
Kushala -20%
Purgatory -40%

Non-Mystic champions with reduced combat power include Hulkling, Adam Warlock, Havok, Nova, and Psylocke.

Some of those champs are great; others... not so great... It's just a balance thing; like having low Health or block Proficiency.

OP, do you run MD - mystic dispersion.. 4:5 should be enough.. having 5:5 might be too much power.. since most (not all) mystic gain power thru nullify buffs

I run 3/5 and it seems like plenty.

Even without MD. Werepupper does fine. Just gotta play him differently. He is nice where you don't need to hit the opponent, so you can play slow until curse is activated and then go ham with the sp2s
