Human torch power stings not working on sp3 in bg

There’s been a couple times now in BG where I have human torch and put around 7-10 nova flames on an opponent at around 20% hp and push them to an sp3 and while I wait for them to throw it, they melt down to around 5%- 10% hp, they activate sp3 to set off the power things of nova flame but boom nothing! they throw it no problem when they should easily be dead, am I missing something do they not activate for sp3 in BG??

    I just had a battle where they activated a sp3 at 2% health with I think 6-8 nova flames and they were still alive at 2% hp

    Agree. And that is in all game modes, not just BG.

    (if you survive the SP3) you should see the power sting damage take effect on them after their SP3 ends.
    While with SP 1 and 2, the damage is applied before the SP (so could kill off the opponent prior to you getting damaged by their SP 1/2).

    That should also be the case with Power Stings from other champs (or from nodes) as well, like YellowJak.

    Did you die as an effect of the SP3? Because if so, this is intended

    If you didn't die, make a screen recording and upload it next time it happens

    If u get hit by an sp3 I think whether or not the power stings deal dmg should worry you the least lol

    Well if the power sting would activate first like on the specials one and two then I wouldn’t get hit by it because they’d be dead lol

    well a sp3 is a animation so it kind make sense it doesn’t apply first before after
