I have been in the alliance I'm in for about three weeks. Yet I didn't qualify for the first part of the alliance 14 Day banquet event?! I mean come on! This seems a bit unfair as I could have gotten significant rewards and increased the contributions to the alliance.... Can someone tell me if this is a bug or the way it's truly designed?!

    Are you level 40 and Conqueror?
    Cause if you are it doesnt make sense you dont qualify with 3 weeks

    If you meet these qualifications, show us the alliance event screensho to make sure it doesn't have a timer attached to it.

    You still have 7 hours until you’re eligible to earn alliance points. So you’ve been there just under 2 weeks, not 3.

    My thing is, I have been in the alliance since well before the event started, so why do I have a timer?

    There’s a 14 day waiting period.

    Just as I thought, you have been in your alliance less the required time. There are plenty of posts about this, in-game emails, warning on the alliance event itself about what is required. Once the timer ends you can start contributing to the alliance milestone and start claiming the rewards. Unfortunately all the solo points you got won't carry over to the alliance event.

    I don't understand the heart of this rule. I get, now, that it is a rule, but why? Is it possible for a person to abuse the alliance event if they joined the alliance before the event started but not greater 14 days before? I just don't understand...

    So you’ve only been in alliance for just under 2 weeks, not the 3 weeks like you said at first.

    And yes, if they allowed points from people right away, then alliances could swap shell players in and out and accumulate a ton more points.

    14 day wait == 14 day event duration. Thus making that possible cheating not possible.
