Raid Boss node change, suggestion

There's been a lot of noise around how fair raid boss challenges might be, I thought I had a couple of effective solutions for a some of the complaints raised?

1) "Thanos block command means you die" - could we implement that a parrying a light/medium equates to a perfect block? Rewards good timing with 0 damage taken, pro player move, doesn't allow a rapid set of missions to be completed/fast ramp as Thanos will be stunned and all existing commands require him to be attacking (I had multiple times where block commands repeated within 5 hit combos) - pro-Thanos move. This also means the block mission can remain as it is, less Dev time.

AND/OR

2) Change encroaching pierce to encroaching prowess - this mainly seems to be an issue when you're up against Maestro or again doing the Thanos mission. This effectively has the same effect as pierce if you get clapped by a special later in the fight, wouldn't overtune defender auto attack damage in collaboration with encroaching fury, and still rewards skill expression through Dexterity.

I would suggest the above improvements are more than fair if we are to keep hold of the 10% damage cap and would still mean people are spending on this event.

Finally a question of my own - I am confused by a developer decision to give the boss encroaching fury/pierce rather than just a large attack stat out the gate, can anyone shed light on that? The only logic I have is so that the boss' ramp matches our own but I don't know that it would cause issues for those who can survive later into the fight..? Personally I expected a big attack stat from the bosses out the gate and wouldn't be disappointed if that was implemented either.

Thank you 😊

I agree with Thanos block. I also want that degen to be removed from Maestro. Anyways, it's not usual Maestro in raid, there's no glancing so this will be fine. Anyways he has pierce so that degen element needs to be removed from sp1.

This is the original Maestro, not the new cosmic version. He always had the degen. If you're having issues with it, practice avoiding it with dexterity instead of demanding it be nerfed, unless you expect the act 4 and labirynth Maestro to be nerfed too. Search McGhee for a 6r5 ascended Maestro duel if you need it.
