So any idea when will 8.4 will be released and what are gonna be rewards for 8.4 and act 8 completion/exploration?

With only 1 7* 2-3 rank up gem for whole act 8 exploration i think is good, if u're not valiant already with 8.4 and 1 path at necropolis u can get there and that's fair enough, necropolis should have the best rewards for some more months

Then they would have done that with the previous 7 acts. 4 is perfect. A 5th chapter would just be act 9 chapter 1. Which were gonna get anyways

They did announce in the stream that there will be 1 7 star rank 3 gem so one single of necropolis and act 8 exploration should get you to valiant

Probably a 7 star 2-3 gem, hopefully an awakening gem, titan shards, etc.
A 7*r3 gem crystal in 8.4 exploration and 7*r3 gem in act 8 exploration is what I expect

Exploration Rewards of other Acts:

Act 4: Random 5 star AG
Act 5: Generic 5 star AG
Act 6: Random 6 star AG
Act 7: Generic 6 star AG

This pattern makes me fairly confident we will see a random 7 star AG from Act 8 full exploration for the first time. Where else would be a better place for it to be introduced

July 4 deals? Easy way to make money with a 7* AG

Biggest question is how long the team has determined to protect Valiant behind (1) Necro explore or (2) Necro completion plus BF whaling, since a 2-3 gem appears to have been all but promised from Act 8 (I doubt it will be more than one, though).

That’s the big prize from Act 8 explore, plus both 7* and Titan shards if past prizes are any indication. I expect a bundle of other stuff like relics, 6* dust, 6* rankup gem, T3a/T6b, sigs, plus some form of Nexus 6* crystals as well as a Deathless piece.

The most value among those items is definitely the 2-3 gem and Titan shards. 7* shards are declining in value as the pool expands, and relics feel like a stagnant afterthought. 6* Dust is great, but it also represents investment in a game asset class that is inevitably declining in value for high end players. Nexus crystals have quite simply lost significant value—may as well throw in 7* shards and iso instead.

All of that is also why I mention 8.4.4 timing—there’s a balance between protecting first movers, preserving content relevance and recognizing prize value decay. It’s possible the final rewards are still fluid depending on a host of factors. Some of the potential rewards mentioned may see their value perception decline even more if 8.4.4 doesn’t drop until May/June.

For the other items mentioned…A 7* AG theoretically increases in value as the basic and Titan pools expand, so wouldn’t expect to see it until July 4 at the earliest (and buried behind big spend).

I also think T4a continues to remain scarce (and may very well not be in 8.4.4) because the team wants to preserve Necro. Necro activity has likely fallen off since Road to the Crypt and will likely continue to fall off since revive farming has been crippled. For such an ambitious piece of content, I think the team will protect its relevance for much of 2024.

Agreed, I think after 8.4, independence day deals should give another r3, then by oct nov, FTP players should be able to get a 7* r3 via a event of challenge objective, And awakening gems should be introduced only by nov cyber deals, I personally think independence day deals are too early for Awakening gems.

In year end there will be a deathless thanos quest. I believe we may be able to get a r3 gem from that quest.

Nah they said that they'll slow down with the progression now. 7* r4s probably won't be available till at earliest 2025

I think the 6* rank up materials will be added to provide value, without influencing the rate of progression. Personally I would value 4-5 gems as valuable as I don’t want to use R3 materials on six stars.

I also think t4a will be added in order to take dolphin spenders to their r3, but also to work towards ftp getting another r3.
