Something broken with AW tier or are we just extremely unlucky?

We were in t2 throughout the last season.. last 3 matches were: win, win, loss
Entire off season is t2...
First match of season is cued for t3 🙃

War rating = 3150
I understand it works on overall % but this seems extremely unlucky if this is actually legitimate?
Can anyone with a similar rating confirm what tier they are cued for? Thanks!

My alliance is 3113 and we are are T3 as well. We usually flip flop on the border of T2 and T3 so your placement sounds pretty in line with our experience

Just seems to defy logic at first glance.. if we look at our last 4 matches of Season:
Lose a war, but still match t2 going into next
Win 2 wars, increasing War rating by over 60 pts (above what we already were when we matched t2 2 wars ago)
Lose one war for a loss of around 30 pts..
Cue for t3 first war of season?
