I don’t know, but I’d rather assume OP is telling the truth than not. Also Miike is giving OP instructions on how to ask for a refund. That tells me that he assume support can use time on the case cause most likely OP got no credit with the units purchase. Why would he direct OP to support if there’s no ground for refund?
It doesn’t matter that no one knows what these Market Points are for. They were part of the purchase at the point of payment so OP should have there points. It could be the 400 points are literally just symbols that do absolutely nothing, but he should still have them as they were part of the purchase. How does anybody know he doesn’t? Does he have something right now that says “you have 0 market points?”And he’s already been told that he can get a refund if he asks for one. There’s literally no issue here.

Good Lord. Quite the discourse over Points that haven't even been explained yet.
Should have done your research on this topic. Legend has it though that acquiring 4million market points gives you a free 1* groot. Also if you wanted to test market points, you could have just bought the paragon daily deal for 5. So then every time I see buy 2 get 1 free posted on any item, I should go home do my due diligence, call the corporate office, ask on Reddit, and then come back to purchase it?

As usual, too many “forum know better” belittling OP and pretending that’s on them to buy something they don’t know the full extent. You can take apart all you want if it’s false advertising or not, but the store showed items + bonus items. If this was the reason OP made the purchase (even not knowing what the bonus item are for) it stands to reason to ask for a refund or getting the said bonus items.

It was the OP that first made the claim of false advertising. If all he said was "I bought one of the offers to get the Market Points, but since those are now gone I would like to get a refund" there would be no problem, as when he actually did that Kabam gave him instructions on how to ask for a refund. End of issue. But once he claimed it was false advertising, you can't then assert everyone else is unjustifiably "belittling" the OP. He opened the door to that specific line of discussion.
@DNA3000 read the thread again, OP didn’t call it false advertising until post number 5. His first post was just about buying something as presented and not getting said thing. First reply was someone basically telling that OP was stupid. Providing zero help and just being belittling.
What a wonderful reminder to make sure you know what it is you are spending $400 on, before you spend it Regardless of your budget, even if you’re buying a $5 offer, it is important to be sure you are informed on exactly what it is you are purchasing

The OP read the items listed before purchasing and is now contending that they didn’t receive one of those listed items. What else was there to research exactly? The reputation of the company?

Apologies for not being clear enough, but I’m referring to the Market Points to which we have zero information
I don’t know. I mean. I get that people should “know” more before making a purchase. But eliminating most illogical options or one that defy common sense it’s the intro to rewards or loyalty program. “Buy this. Get points. Cash in those points for XX Items”I mean yeah. XX items could end up being only profile pictures which OP had zero interest in and he gets burned regardless. But if he still got his points, that takes away half the equation.
And if you judge my post to be the first hostile post, what about this quote that came way before mine “ Should have done your research on this topic. Legend has it though that acquiring 4million market points gives you a free 1* groot.”
It’s technically false advertising. When the purchase was made, it said +200 market points. They weren't even advertised as anything though. It could have said 3 bananas and it would have meant the same thing essentially
