Silent nerf to toad?

Toad is one of my favourite characters in the game and I am super disappointed that he has had his best matchup taken away from him considering he is not a super meta champ. For those that don't know toad is (or should I say was) the best Nick Fury counter being able to shut down his second life through the interaction with paralytic poisons, I dont think I need to explain why this is incredibly important in battlegrounds. However since the latest update toads poisons no longer convert into passives when being removed by Nicks second life meaning it doesn't get shut down. I really hope this is just an unintended change that will be fixed but I am still very worried future usefulness of my fave champ

    I mean you can disagree with it being referred to as a silent nerf if you want but the facts are that I don't see a thread from a kabam employee addressing the issue (there is your silent part) and toad is a worse champ because of the bug. Until either of these change i think it's fine to call it a silent nerf

    Toad isnt nerfed, please dont jump to conclusions. Nick is bugged.

    In a few words you called it a silent nerf and said he's worse because of a bug. So which is it?
