Battleground "matching"

Well, maybe a lot of people may have posted about this - which I haven't come across yet.
I don't really know for sure how it is being done but I will just post what I can think of.
How is it matched, really?
IMO, for eg, 15k health champs x 10 = 150000 health /rated account.
30k health champs x 5 = 150000 rated account.
So they are considered a match?
IMO, its just so wrong.
I'm coming up with 40k opponents often and then they are fighting my 30k defenders almost everytime. Especially when they banned my very top champs.
Someone pls explain to me how is it fair?
I don't think I am a top tier player but not that rubbish either. But these matchups make me lose until I get so numb and tired of battle ground.

Seriously though, rank up champs and play well. Try that and report back.
Yes, genius.
That's why I stated " a lot of people may have posted about this".
And also thanks for the genius tip to rank up champs. The obvious statement of the year!!!
Use your brain harder. Try!!! 😀
Is it showing some math example of whether TOP-5 champs at twice the Health as the other person's TOP-10 somehow makes them equivalent ?
1 x 10 == 2 x 5 ??
I (and others here) are gonna assume you have reached into Platinum levels now.
Which has been said time and again that at that level you start matching against ANYONE ELSE also in those levels. NO MATTER of roster strength.
It is BEFORE reaching that particular Platinum level where you tend to only be matched against relatively similar rosters. But once you reach that, all bets are off.
It is a competition, and the players who succeed in competitions are the strongest, the fastest, the most skillful, and those who know what they are doing.
The information regarding how Battlegrounds works as a competition has been out there for a long time now. It is up to the players to decide if they are going to spend their time complaining about it, or learning to get better at it. In this case “git gud” doesn’t just refer to fighting BG matches. There’s deck strategy, draft strategy, and even VT tier navigation strategy.
No amount of VT strategy is going to place you in the top five. But smart play can be the difference between a strong Paragon getting stuck in Platinum and giving up and a middling Cavalier getting to the Gladiator Circuit.
