Possibly because these rewards have been out dated for over 4-6 months now and BG participation in the GC is at an all time low? Seems like a good reason to ask and highlight this being a bit silly leave out of this update.

I dont get how this takes a month? Seems like 2 hours of work. Take the current values, double them and add some better stuff at the end. Boom. Took me 40 seconds to figure this out. Kabam seems so inefficient.

So my thought process is why even waste time and effort doing Season 16 (especially as I'm not Valiant) and just wait until Season 17 when there's an update to solo rewards.. yeah?

Because those rewards are so mid. Kabam does have something on the solo event once before (season 12). I didn't wish every season could be like that many rewards. But everyone wants more from the solo event and maybe also has some expectations about that alliance event instead of 300k points for 1.5k 6* shards.

I had read on another thread (maybe about potion economy) a comment by someone that it takes 2 seconds to put a number in but it takes 4 months to figure out what that number is going to be(I am just paraphrasing). I guess it applies here as well.

How hard is to code some more shards, or even better replace them with Trophy tokens, so rewards don't need to be trash for Valiant and OP for Uncollected accounts?
Every in game store update comes with a huge delay, while game economy moves fast mainly thanks to cash/units offers.
I personally don't even care about BGs solo/ally event milestones,and I'm ok with the new Valiant store, but poor Paragon players got shafted big time.
This eventually will affect my BGs experience too, because less Paragons will be playing the mode (since rewards for at least for late Paragons are trash), and that means competition will be stiffer due to fewer and stronger participants, making the already tedious VT slog even more painful.
Kabam needs to update Paragon store asap, as well as accelerate solo/alliance events update.

There has been a lot of chatter about game economy lately. If there truly is a big pot for all in-game resources and they divide that pot up across all the game modes, then changing something in one area would impact another game mode. With some of the recent boosts in rewards in AW the BG store, I an bit sure if that thinking is sound. Maybe it's just applicable to units.

All I know from my interactions with Kabam Crashed is it is a whole entire process. It isn't one person saying, let's do this and it is done, it is most likely a collaboration of many people to decide what's in it, if it fits the reward budget, and then it has to get approved by others and probably changed more in the process. All of this happens on top of everything else they do too.

It kinda helps me. I just cannot, cannot do alliance play right now. And so long as the solo rewards for things suck, I can kinda ignore them. Sadly, the Valiant store might still me push into BGs a bit? But probably still not.

I get that it’s a whole process. But then Kabam should have a proper timetable for rewards and store updates. It should be part of the business as usual, not what appears to be a reaction because the community has lost interest in a game and is becoming riled up by the lack of rewards. And honestly it feels like these updates could be agreed as part of a 1 hour meeting. But we have to wait multiple more month for the actual update. When your customers are happy they play more, when they play more they are more likely to spend more. Updating rewards doesn’t negate the want to spend.

TBH, if they had a rotation of revisiting and updating one of the 3 (Store, Solo, and Alliance rewards) each month, with small & reasonable incremental updates so nothing ever gets/seems stale & outdated, that would be awesome.

like we just went from being able to get 3.75 T6CC max per BG Season (5 weeks - includes offseason week) from the store to being able to get that in 1 week... that's a 5x 🧐

Except they also need to update the stores for glory, loyalty etc almost as often as bgs. Let's not forget other outdated stuff like weekly alliance events like summoner advancement etc that gives barely anything. Or objective crystals.....big yikes.
