Hate it when that happens. You star to lose hope that the defender will ever throw their special attacks and at this point you're so worried that you've lost on time that you don't even expect them to throw it all. Then suddenly, they do and you're caught off guard.

The AI combined with all the dropped inputs/increased lag recently means that a matchup is pretty much luck sometimes, which isn't fun at all (I play on iPhone 12 and Ik this is seems to be one of the worst affected ios devices, sadly.)

I can’t see an AI being programmed to not be perfect very easy. Computers can’t get maths wrong, but randomising a number is possible when it comes to an ai’s time to counter.

After playing for so long I find that most fights are predictable.

1 I’ve noticed. You try an throw a heavy against a defender with a special 1 lit up, like 8 out of 10 he’s going to counter with a special 1. Yet I still attempt it lol.

You go to throw a heavy against a recovering defender with 3 bars of power, 9/10 he’s using that special 3, using a medium attack however, it’s more like 6/10.

2 things: 1, Where did you find that from Kabam?

And 2, I had a similar situation happen. I was using Captain Marvel Movie against Sam Wilson. She just got to 25 charges, went binary, and got her 12 second Indestructible buff. AI was on Sp 2, and waited, and waited, and waited until her Indestructible buff had expired then threw it's sp 2. No matter how much I danced around and tried to bait it out. I even hit AI again and it STILL didn't throw it's special 2 until her Indestructible expired. If I had been using somebody else, we probably would have died in that fight 😂

Also, in another fight, the AI was ridiculously passive and just stood there holding block. But as soon as my champ gets an unblockable buff, the AI all of a sudden wants to dash out and attack. When unblockable buff was over, AI went back to being passive. Wth?? And this wasn't one of those intentional "bipolar" nodes where one minute the AI is passive, and the next they're aggressive. This was a common one.

not only that, but there's an animation issue when dexing doesn't count as a dex. i counted maybe 6 dexes where he clearly dexed but the game saw it a shallow evade and didn't count it and the dexterity text didn't show up.

Guess those aggression nodes wit SP1 and SP2 bias is just too awesome for us regular folk to enjoy during basic fights.

Lol so true. Would have been embarrassing for Kabam if this happened at battlerealm brawl. Idk why Kabam don't just add aggression nodes to these BGs metas until they fix the problem. Or even something cool like: intercept to put a taunt on the opponent would be a fairly decent solution while Kabam were making and testing their changes to AI.

AI threw dice multiple times, dice always told AI to NOT throw special attack under any condition, kinda annoying dice if I'd have to say, in what world and for what content this this type of AI is programmed?

Because of this i lost 2 bg matches yesterday. After AI doesn't throw specials for like 30s and wasting my time, i go like, alright you want it then you will get it, i keep hitting till AI's Sp3 and sp3 they launch instantly. And boom i lose because of that.

It was in BGs, where timing is much more crucial than AW. However, in war, with stacking indestructible I have no idea how to counter this ridiculous AI behavior..

It may be worth trying to dex from the right side of the screen. It could be that this AI was hyper sensitive to those split second blocks before you dash back and it was reacting to that by holding its special. Obviously it shouldn’t be that sensitive, but there may be a workaround until it’s brought back into line.

Wish I had my recorder on but this war I had a passive gorr on rich get richer in aw. He would not use a sp at all. Plus side he hit sp3 and still wouldn't use sp. I won that fight 25 hits later with his sp3 ready.
