I think it is an issue of whether there was indeed a bug or merely a mistake of not completing the required steps.

I have four accounts and I cycled through each one just playing this event. Yet, on one account I am a day behind.

I must have missed claiming the completed objective in that instance.

For others who played only on one account and diligently made the required fights and still missed points, it may look like a bug. Was it?

They should raise a ticket to verify.
