I just want to ask the logic behind 7 days of RAID

if perhaps the only reason is to delay the availability of 7 health potions for the price of 1 gold?

It can be done in 4 days or less, so why 7 exactly?

this. not every alliance is built the same. obviously higher alliances are likely breezing through this. but there are more than just top alliances in the ecosystem many of whom take various amounts of time to complete a Raid week.

AQ is on a 1 week cycle so they give us the full time to get it done. Gives us time to coordinate teams to build up charges. The first time we did it, the revives were on a daily reset timer of 2 per day which spaced things out but the community and later Kabam, found it to be restrictive for that same coordination issue... So now we get 7 per half week... Changing it to be 4 days wouldn't really do anything since we'd be waiting until the end of the week anyway for rewards.

So that we have time to finish the map? Stop complaining about too much time on quests, you want kalbm to put a 2 hour time limit on raids also?

You used to only get 2 revives everyday and could only hold 2 at a time. To remedy that, kabam stated giving out 7 the first half of the raid and 7 second half to make it much easier.

Its like asking why EQ runs for a whole month when you can explore it in 1 or 2 days....
Not everyone plays at the same pace 🤦

Not every alliance can cycle through quickly and some are global alliances where communication is delayed.

Congrats, now raids will be tuned up because apparently summoners are finishing it in 4-5 days instead of 7, so team have decided to make up for that. 😘

I think it's a pretty good setup. Slower alliances with less developed/ skilled rosters have a week to do it. My alliance explored all bgs in less than 24 hours so we get a 6 day break. We also almost all had 7 revives banked from last time, so we had the full 14 available from the jump and will have 7 in inventory when this raid ends. Pretty nice if you ask me.

If you complete your Raid in just 2 days, why doesn’t it allow you to begin ANOTHER Raid again. And again again … until week is over, lol.

Honestly, with all the changes to Raids, it's pretty enjoyable.

Get it done fast, take a break to do the other 2390572385 things that the game "asks" you to do.

If only regular AQ were like that...
