Can we confirm r3 materials in 8.4?

I know they said it was dropping on April 10. And I feel like the consensus has been r3 materials will be part of the rewards but is that confirmed or stated at any point? Thanks for the help

I'm not sure why anyone thought it could be 8.4 exploration. It would make no sense for 8.4 exploration to have better rewards than Act 8 exploration, and if Act 8.4 contained enough materials to do an R3 and Act 8 exploration also had enough materials to do an R3 that would mean Act 8 would contain two R3s worth of rank up, and you could get to Valiant with just Act 8 exploration. But I'm pretty certain Kabam explicitly stated that somewhere in Act 8 would be the resources to do one of them but not both of them.

They did, they said Act 8 exploration AND either deals or Necropolis completion for those who want to wait for 8.4

This. If it's the materials to R3 another 7*, it's undoubtedly going to be behind Act Exploration. Logically-speaking, the largest Rewards would be for complete exploration overall.

Nah zero chance of them giving us ags, we've barely received sig stones and they weren't even generic. We will get a few from WoW but there's no way they would start giving us ags this early unless they plan on releasing 8* next year.

I said later on that I just need a T4A. I'm hoping Miike was just speaking generally since they don't have the specifics down. If I have to explore all of Act 8 and the R3 materials take the form of a 1>2 in completion and exploration has 2>3 rank up crystal, that sucks for me. I'm still holding out hope that it'll be split like 1 T4A + 1/3 r3 rank up materials for completion and 2 T4A + the rest of the r3 materials for exploration.

this thread is kind of sad, cause big rankups used to mean so much more. we have minimal choice in war these days so the big rankups just get set aside for random flavor-of-month attackers anyway.

Do you even realize the dumpsterfire these forums would be if they locked that r3 7* behind a unit offer after saying they were going to give us the materials for exploration? Lol I rarely get my hopes up when it comes to rewards but this is just being pessimistic for the sake of being pessimistic.

I agree with this but I do wanna point out Omega might become relevant again after mastery loadouts are implemented. I have a r4, always wanted to use him in war but the reason I never did is cause I have to spend hundreds of units every single time I want to use him lol.

Not generic, but a class AG would be amazing…

As others have stated before:
- Act 4 had a 5* class AG
- Act 5 had a 5* generic AG
- Act 6 had a 6* class AG
- Act 7 had a 6* generic AG
- Act 8 HAS TO have a 7* class AG

Regardless of whether it's a gem, materials, whatever it is, it'll be sick for paragon to be able to get their second r3.

Since I'm Valiant, I'm pumped to get my 3rd r3, but also wondering if we will get a class awakening gem, that would be super awesome!

7 star awakening gem would be nice in act 8 exploration in addition to getting the ability to r4 someone. Preference is a gem over t4a cos my bottleneck is now t6cc

It is confirmed we are getting a single gem on act 8 exploration. It is most probably class, but it maybe generic if kabam is kind.

Who is "you guys"? I don't want to go back and play more 8.1 and 8.2 just for 1 T4A. If I could get a T4A through exploring 8.4 to complete Act 8, great! since I was planning to do that anyway on the assumption that 8.4 would be more like 8.3.
