Last season you f*cked us up with Raids bug and this season stripping away well earnt win where diversity did not even matter. Are you serious mate?
please listen, this is horrible, even worse than doing nothing.
My 2 cents: sit down with the person made the decision, and ask him/her if he/she is 100% sure about doing this, taking away a win from those who spent ton of resources and did actually win the war, and also ask 500 7-star shards is enough for those used 400 units on potions and tons of boosts, and significant time on war planning.
If Kabam had any bit of common sense, they'd keep the War 7 scores, AND provide the full compensation package.
quick and easy. no sense trying the surgical option that upsets players and doesn't really make everyone whole. a little goes a long way, this was a brutal season.
It would be enough not to be a fan and look at the general correctness of a decision, not exclusively at one's own small interest.
It would be enough not to be kids playing MCOC but mature people with a wealth of knowledge and culture.
There were substantial conditions for a cancellation of the seventh war, as well as for the continuation of the season.
The principle of continuity and the least possible impact are pivotal in complex situations.
End the season. Give everyone 1 tier above (the precedent you set a few seasons back) where they currently are and call it a day. This season has had so many issues that this newest “solution” is the straw that broke the camels back here.
Just end this disaster.
the worst thing i can think of is doing a partial solution then throwing players back in the mud for another week of this misery. just end it.
give tier rewards that are one higher where everyone currently stands (that's good shard compensation) and instead of giving victory rewards 12x just give the loyalty that comes from 12x wins and that's good loyalty compensation for a such an overly difficult season.
The hell with AW and the game.
Orange text begins:
Summoners, our first season to accompany Sagas has veered off course towards tragedy. We made several mistakes, and we sincerely apologize. Many have requested we cancel the season, as has been done in the past. Many of you have been delighted with the new Sagas structure, but it comes at the cost of rigidly defined and connected scheduling. For this reason, canceling the season, while certainly the easiest path, wasn’t truly an option. However, we hear you. Our proposed solution isn’t enough. We will therefore be doing the following:
1. All war ratings will be returned to their values at the start of the season and locked for the remainder of season. We understand this will have negative consequences for a few alliances that were on the fringe of a new tier, but these edge cases will be addressed in the compensation.
2. We will introduce a new type of item called boost vouchers. These items have no expiration or stack limit, and may be exchanged for the boost to which they correspond. These will be given on a 1:1 basis to all summoners who purchased boosts with units this season. This allows us to refund those boosts without summoners needing to worry about them expiring in overflow.
3. We will be compensating as previously mentioned, with one caveat. The victory rewards will be provided at the tier you began the season at, OR one tier above if your alliance was within 35 war rating of the next tier.
4. All season rewards will be bumped by one rank.
Thank you all for your patience. We understand how frustrating this is for you. Believe us, it’s just as bad for us. Nobody likes letting people down. We will monitor the situation closely next season to see if the changes we’ve implemented this season reach their intended design goals. We will provide an update after that season with our findings, and any further adjustments.
Thank you so much to each and every Summoner. All of you make the Contest what it is.
