EQ 2.2: Is Spiritualism Node granting Defender power also?

Perhaps I’m misunderstanding the interplay of nodes here, but the defenders in this path are also gaining a chunk of max power when a striker is activated.

What am I missing?

    It’s always a conundrum: be a first mover and hope there’s good payout for bug issues, or let others take the initial leap and avoid them until later.
