For those who haven’t seen it, I’ll put it right at the top:

Very cool pool of new 7* champs coming to the game, but I have one pretty big concern. At the bottom of the announcement, it is explained that there is a way to get 34 free Cavalier crystals. However, the Omega Rush event only gains progress when opening Paragon or Valiant crystals (also, cool that we’re getting Valiant crystals). So does this mean that the only way to make progress on the Paragon+ event is by purchasing the relevant crystals and there will be no non-expenditure based means of getting any points towards it?
The top milestone is at 400 points and you get 2 points per crystal. So you’d need 200 crystals at 300 units apiece, which is 60,000 units. That would make this I think the highest threshold ever in the game. I hope there’s some mitigation here that I’m just not seeing.

But outside of special unit offers they'll likely have, the only way is to just keep buying those Valiant Omega crystals
are there groot days next week after?
If not if would feel boring
F2p gonna watch out usafa and damn epic whale youtube videos to feel happy and after that gameplays of new 7 Star and that's it for the f2p experience
... On the assumption it's points for opening the crystals not buying the crystals
I feel like some of these people with decked out rosters don't even do anything with them. It's just the novelty of having them and the dopamine hit of gambling and opening stuff.
Regardless, if you look at this event extremely close, the big prize for whaling out are a couple new 7*s and a single r3 sig 101 (at least) champ. That's about it. I'd highly call that enough of an advantage to keep you from still beating these people.

I think it crazy that the event is 35k units most ppl won't even have half of that. I FEEL as it comes off as kabam not out of touch on their pricing. Even the 8.4 offer to most was not a good offer which further proves my point. I Think most ppl would like offers to be kept between 7k- 15k range depending on what's being given. This event being so close to July deals is purposely there to drain the units after spring cleaning just like how last year it was first during July deals that we could purchase the unit offers twice. I understand the game needs money to run and that they are doing it entirely to get money, but I FEEL or am AFRAID that we are going back to those crazy deals back in July and the community in large was not happy. I really do love the game and I have met some kabam staff and they seem nice or genuinely want us to have a good time. I know I may be putting my foot in mouth cuz kabam may drop more ways to get crystal later for the milestones and if not i hope they take some feedback and maybe just reduce the cost of some of the unit deals and if you have to take stuff out like those 100 sig stones or other things then so be it (i know this can't be done for this event but i am talking for future event). I don't know if this message was clear I was never good at writing but i tried my best.
PS if you're going to reply please don't come back with just don't spend or you don't have to play the game. If someone is taking the time to write something out, I think they want to hear more than those two points. I'd rather have some constructive feedback to this or viewpoint maybe I'm not seeing other than don't spend or don't play which just tends to derail the conversation or gets us nowhere. i hope none of this came off as condescending or rude I'm being genuine about this.
