The Man of Sand, the Sand Man.
Triple immunities, tanky, unique play style which feels rewarding, truckload of immunities and double the damage locked behind the sig!
Dude hits hard. Check out that 69k debuff burst with only 44 debuffs. If you can stack 80+ debuffs I estimate it will be 82k+. At high sig it will be 164k+.

Unfortunately for Sandman, I've pulled all of my dream science 7*s basically in a row in the last couple of months, so he's been put on the backburner for now.
I won’t be able to dupe him for a while, but I am happy to do it and invest sigs in him.
Sandman got floored by Kabam.
At 7-star Rank 3 sig 200, Sandman gets a whopping +6300 Attack bonus while Unstable. Each Heavy Prof gets +400 attack x8 = 3200 attack. So there is +9500 attack locked behind his sig, which is 50% more than his base attack.
At 7-star R6, the Unstable bonus is a whopping +10755 attack and the Heavy Prof bonus is +672 so x8 = +5300 attack. So imagine, that’s +16000 attack locked behind his sig.
I’m super excited to try it out.
@Moosetiptronic he has 6x more Attack and 4x more Heavy Prod at sig 200 so don’t lose hope! At R3 at least.
@Ghostboytjie nice! What is the most burst you got out of him?
But I respect your choice
So if you can enlighten me his some uses I might R4 mine as well
1) Best Petrify in the game, just spam SP1 and watch Regen champs melt. Each SP1 inflicts 10 debuffs at 8% potency each.
2) He can counter Slow and Evade through his Decelerate debuffs, just spam SP2. Each SP2 inflicts 30 debuffs at 7% potency each.
3) He inflicts Physical Vulnerability debuffs through his SP3, 20 when stable and 50 when unstable.
4) His synergy with Starky and Stealthy helps him counter Miss.
5) He has Root, which is extremely niche. I imagine this will only become more useful with time.
6) He inflicts 10x Suppression debuffs of 5% potency each when Unstable, so you can spam Heavy without (always) pushing opponents to an SP3.
7) And if you do push opponents to an SP3 - he’s extremely tanky. Especially with 20x Resistance Ups, he mitigates a ton of damage. Add 3/3 Inequity for a 36% damage reduction …
8) He has Bleed, Poison and Shock immunity.
9) Check my damage comment above, he’s got a lot of damage but needs dupe and sig 200.
The debuffs fuel his kit, you just need to get to 99 which helps both from a utility perspective as well as a damage perspective.
He has a lot of things in his kit, I just find it so much fun. He’s not the best for AW or BGs, but I’m a questing guy and this is an insane rankup for me.
But that’s awesome man - thanks for the insight on Thing. This is what I like about Sandman, he shuts down a lot of weird tricky nodes on various classes too, doesn’t have to be Mystic.
And that BGs comment - totally accurate, that’s where all the criticism came from. You know what, I criticize BGs itself, I hate that game mode!
Congrats OP!
But now is about 50-70k on buildup. But atleast its consistanly. I dont use him much anymore though. But when I do, I remember why I took him up. I was really hoping for a 7* when he was released from banquet.
I’ll try to run the numbers when I have time on a 6* R5, R5 ascended and 7 R3 unduped, at sig 200 and at R6 sig 200.
Or
Not that they would implement the change but I like the current trend they are doing lately with spider punk and serpent where in BG they start partially ramped. If they added that to sandman giving him half his heavy proficiency charges at the start of BG matches, I think we’d see his popularity rise significantly.
Congrats
