Just hoping to get a confirmation from the Kabam team.

Is Mysterium a permanent currency?

I.e we will continue to have Trader Outpost with Mysterium as currency going forward (June, July, ect)

I just thought I remember reading somewhere @Kabam Jax mentioned something about it being the same, with only some small changes from month to month, giving me an impression it was a permanent thing.

Would be good to get some kind of official clear confirmation, just so players know what they are doing.

@Pikolu , do you happen to have any extra info on this?

This is what i thought they said of it being just for this saga trade currency thats why i said one more month since after this month we dont fully know if will be the currency going forward or be changed

Well, Mysterium is something from the recent X-Men comics, so it makes sense that it's tied to this Saga, and the next Saga will use something different. But we won't know for sure until Kabaam tells us.

Since a new saga is coming up. @Kabam How long is the Trader's Outpost going to be there, and can we store our mysterium? Or do we have a cut-off date by which we'll need to spend them?

No issues if it's permanent, actually happy to have it so. I just see a few people saying it's permanent, but no link to any of the "repeated" official confirmations.

No info if any changes or update to the trader store coming? I miss the SQ event stores, with all the fun options to pick n choose from.

Read the new SQ notes. Mysterium is still in the rewards.

When it first launched back in march/april/may. Can't remember when it first came out. But think about it this way, it launched back then, at minimum 4-5 months ago. And it's still here? It's not going away.

If I am not mistaken is was confirmed by kabam Jax during a livestream which may be why you probably haven't found it on the forums.

I did find this at least on forums. Not exactly 100% confirmation but it very heavily implies it's permanent.

Hello everyone,

OP here, while we never got an actual confirmation that Myterium is a permanent currency or not.

I guess for now we can make an educational assumption that it is. Just very much like any other currency that have been introduced to MCOC, e.g Artifacts, Loyalty or Glory, ect. It is never confirmed that those will be permanent, they just stick around.

It was announced that we will be getting some of Tokens (toward Mr Sinister chase) from September to December, so again we can make an educated guess that Myterium will be around to the end of December at least.

Of course it would of been helpful if we get an official confirmation from Kabam, but with how the forum are lately, it doesn't seem like it will happen anytime.

I think the Myterium and the Trade Outpost is a running test, if it work and no problen arrived then it will just keep going, like the Loyalty, Glory and BG stores.

However if it cause too much problem or work for Kabam, they might shut it down but if/when that happen, I would think that is would good sense for Kabam to inform players before hand.

For now I will continue to spend and save Myterium for next month event 😊

I am not trying to be difficult here, but wouldn’t call it “confirmed”.

Just put that information somewhere that the player base can see if this is actually the case.

They said it in the original Mysterium lunch post. If you remember, there was different currencies for different side quests, along with specific stores. They replaced these with Mysterium.

I’d be fine if Mysterium is permanent but I wish the store was more ‘a la carte’ style.
