Better BGs defender? Jessica or Mephisto

Main reason I'm unsure is cause Jessica is house of mirrors for the final season of the Saga she'll benefit. But mephisto looks like he'll be good next BGs season.

Note: I wouldn't draft Jessica if they have a nuke like sunspot, Kate, cgr etc. Mephisto also has inevitable damage if they're not immune so even science champs can lose versus him because of the aura

    I don't really ever have trouble with Jessica unless it's a meta where you can't nuke her. Mephisto is always a very slow fight without a strong counter.

    The r4 held his own for a long time for me. The only reason I delayed ranking him is cause I had a duped Sassy that I figured was the better defender but I'm gonna ascend and r5 mephisto after Sinister

    Jess can be killed by someone who doesn't counter her, like sunspot or cgr or kate. But mephisto is a guaranteed loss if opponent fails to draft a incenerate immune. Most people don't run torch these days either.

    He is a very good time staller, one of the best at sig 200. Very few champs can actually counter him, when you don't have a counter not only do you have to deal with constant power gain and that extra health but you also can't hit him too often cause you take a ton of unavoidable damage.
    As long as you ban every Torch on sight, he is 100% the better option here.
