Season 19 BG Starting Point Incorrect [resolved, additional comms]

So I ended last season in Gladiator's Circuit however .. this is what I showed when entering Battlegrounds. It says I finished in Plat 2 ... what the what??!

    So last season I ended up in Vibranium 3 but now it shows I ended up platinum 4??? Seriously kabam????

    I’m sure it has to do with all the new ranks that Kabam added and they didn’t account for them correctly in the code for determining where players start the next season

    Same here, kabam needs to issue corrected rewards. I finished uru 1 and it says I finished plat 2, major cut in rewards

    Same here.. I ended up in GC gamma 2 but it showing I ended up in plat 2. Which is wrong.

    I somehow actually did start in plat 2, yet I should be in diamond 5 with the new system since I was in gc last season lol.

    Yep, I started in plat 3 like normal, won 2 matches then it kicked me down to gold

    I’ve already played two matches in Platinum and now it’s saying I’m in gold and need to play 5 matches for rewards

    I would wait until both this and the cosmic armor break node are fixed

    I finished in GC last season, it auto put me In plat 2 then I won a match, and when I reloaded the points were gone and I was in gold v

    This sounds very plausible and correct. Wondering if i should even go in there before they fix this

    Yeah..same issues. I started bgs in p2..played one match...lost..then won the next one and it's changed me to silver 1.

    We are aware of an issue impacting the starting position for this new season of Battlegrounds resulting in many Summoners starting lower down the Victory Track than they should.
    As an additional grind will be inevitable this season as a result, we are adding the following rewards to compensate:
    - 15,000 7-Star Shards for reaching Diamond 1
    - 10,000 Titan Shards for reaching Vibranium 1
    These changes are expected to appear in game ASAP
