Serpent true focus not nullified by mordo

Hi - I was playing around with Mordo in BGs VS serpent and realized that the true focus he gains on special activation is not being nullified by Mordo's block.

Mordo's sig states:



So blocking Serpent's specials should remove the true focus and replace it with a detonate buff since it is a true-type buff (right?). Tested it in practice mode with my serpent and I can't get any nullify at all. With my Mordo at sig 20 there's around 83% chance to remove it on each hit of the special (7 hits on sp1 and 4 on sp2) so that's very unlikely.

Out of the specials, letting Serpent hit my block is also doing nothing. Tried with sigil witch and she nullifies the true focus parrying serpent special with no problem.

Any thoughts? am I missing something? wasn't true focus added to the true-type buffs Mordo can interact with? is this a bug?

    What sig is urs btw since u could have gotten unlucky as it does say there 82% chance to nullify it so u could have gotten unlucky or have u tried using a max sig and still acts the same?

    There is no way it doesn’t work since true focus is a true ability

    As mentioned in the op: sig 20 has a 83% to nullify each time serpent hits Mordo’s block. Tried around 10 duels, 2/3 sp1s per duel (6hits each)+ blocked hits afrerwards. I didn’t see a single nullify, not once. Not ever.

    Tried with Odín, nullified true accuracy first time, first duel.

    Feel free to test yourself and show me mordo nullifying serpent’s true focus. I have never aren mine doing it.

    Well then so it’s maybe a bug or they forgot to add true focus to Mordo’s sig true-list.

    Don’t want to tag any team member, hopefully they see this and clarify what’s going on

    I’m legit surprised there is a “bug team” or any QC. They certainly don’t check the bugs section of this forum and never did. They certainly don’t receive or act on all emailed , valid bug reports sent to support either. The joke is hearing there is a bug team while , say … Galan has been bugged for like a year and a half with zero acknowledgement or action taken.

    Sorry to derail from the topic of this thread.

    Good news, they are fixing it


    Consoled an upset Mordo by letting him know True Focus counts as a True Effect and allowing him to Nullify it while blocking

    Maybe Mordo is still upset about how we disabled his astral evade

    But the patch notes said they fixed of saying telling mordo true focus is a true affect buff that he can nullify

    Hopefully kabam crashed or kabamdork can look into it to see what happened here
