I got to rank 4 on Friday now I can't find them to get anymore for the second round. Anyone else not seeing them?

The devil is in the details. I noticed that timer right away when I went for the 2nd level. I don't think this 2 day timer benefits them except maybe to panic ppl into buying them all quickly.. But the better salesman logic is to have them available the whole week.

I expect they might "fix" it if there are enough complaints.

Yeah disappointing. I got to valiant tier 4 didn't see the timer reset I guess was wanting to stew on if I wanted to buy more for it. Decided to yesterday thinking that the deals would last through Sunday into Monday....you know the whole weekend. In my misery I bought more valiant crystals than I want to admit and got a lot of 5* champs with higher sigs now so that's cool! (Sigh) maybe one of the bigger sales misses by Kambam

I understand having a purchase limit like they have with the units bundle, but how does it make sense that the tier lists disappear before you have a chance to save up for the highest tier? The associated even is 7 days long while the tier list expires in 2. Really weird way to punish people for spending more later during the event

Nope buying any units after the tier deals have expired does not retrigger the tier deals. Can confirm, I just bought spidy’s units and they did not come back!

I am in the same boat. I bought the second tier and was trying to build up units for the third and BAMF. Gone in a cloud of brimstone. I would think that they would eventually reset back to the first offer at the least.

Actually, they have been like this for a while now. It was exactly the same in 2023, and it was similar but with slightly different timers in 2022.

My recollection is when they first experimented with tiered sales that lasted for a certain time period, players complained that if they purchased the first tier on the last day they would have very little time to think about, and possibly buy units for, the next tier up after seeing it. So Kabam changed it so that once you bought the first offer, you’d have at least a few days to consider buying the next one in the sequence, even if you bought it in the last hour of the last day. So while you have the entire week to decide to trigger the offers, once triggered you only have two days to get the next one, and then the next one.

As I said, it was exactly the same last year. And in 2022 the timers gave you just three days to buy. In fact, it gave you three days to buy even the first one: this was changed to be seven days when they rebranded the mid year sales to be “week of summer” instead of “July 4” sales.

We never had a whole week to buy all the offers, because once upon a time it was a three day event, and when it became a week long event last year the tiered unit deals were using the “two days per tier” trigger timer.

I’m not sure why people think the offers would “regenerate” after a certain amount of time or after purchasing units. To the best of my recollection, that type of thing has never happened before in the history of offers. The only time that has ever happened was when offers were progression tiered and a player crossed a progression tier where the offers would be different.

At least Miike would have the courtesy to tell us to pound sand. Terribly designed event, kabam reps are likely to ashamed to even chime in knowing had bad it is. Whoever thought a 2 day timer and a 7 day solo event was a good idea should be demoted to cleaning toilets.

It is not a customer support portal, nor are you allowed to explicitly call out or demand responses from either the mods or the devs. They may choose to post or respond, and you may inquire if they have a response, but you are not allowed to demand one to the exclusion of all other forum participants. Not regenerate just last the event time lol. And yeah it would last the whole event when it was shorter. So it should do the same and be longer since the event is longer. The email says the event is until July 5th. Last year was a new thing they tried extending it. It was a lame idea as it is now if the offer is shorter than the event.

As far as I am aware (and as was articulated to me), the tech did not exist then and does not exist now for the offers to have a dynamically adjusted timer. If they set the offer to expire seven days after the start of the event, they could not show that on the offer. For the offer itself to show a countdown clock, it must be set to a fixed time. If it was set to seven days, people could be buying offers into August, which is not intended.

On the other hand if they didn’t show a clock at all, people would (ne: did in the past) complain that they were not told when offers would expire in the game itself.

That’s why this behavior of each offer in a sequence of triggered offers has its own independent timer, and always has as far as I’m aware. There’s no other way to do it in the game with the current tech. It can all expire at a given time, but it will then do so invisibly without warning. Or it can show a countdown timer, but that timer must be a fixed amount of time from the moment the offer is triggered.

You have to pile on to be one of the cool kids here. That said, Kabam would probably reenable them if they could, they’d like your money. However the game is old and they probably can’t do it.

They could make it in store format. You get selector and token, that grants you access to the next tier offer. Personally I don't mind current format, but lack of information about 2d timer screwed me up a bit

Kinda crazy a statement hasn’t been released yet on the matter. Terribly poor logic to set that timer after the first purchase for both grinders and spenders who had no warning a 2 day timer would start.
