Idea for the future of the battlegrounds

Ascending to the higher tier in battlegrounds make the matches difficult and you don’t wanna lose your GC rank

So couldn’t it be like we could play with random people without affecting our ranks basically like unranked mode

I know you all might say that “oh you could just do friendly matches” but many players ain’t got all the friends and mates the same level as they. Currently I’m in gamma 2 and most people of my alliance aren’t my level except 3 (we are a gold alliance don’t judge us) so playing with those 3 repetitively isn’t fun at all.

Idk how games and modes work but maybe this idea get some light in the future

I'm a little confuse here. Are you saying that once you reach GC, you should lose points for losing a match? If that is what you are saying than it's not a good idea since you can just grind away without worrying about a negative point for a lost. This would be like arena. The more you play the higher the points, not a very competitive game mode.

No you definitely misinterpreted me here, I meant for a ranked and unranked mode under battlegrounds… aside from the current competitive game mode there should be another which you can just play

I think it would be great for most of us but would negatively impact the top ranks going for C1/2/3. They would excessively camp to protect the position and practice without penalties or hassle ( i know they do friendlies but not very easy to get alot for them in with a variety of opponents). This might work below Celestial but once you get there.. the unranked mode needs to be disabled.

OK, there is already a friendly mode that you can play anytime without worrying about being competitive. It's like the unrank, uncompetitive mode you are looking for but you need to know someone in order to play the game. So makes some friends and go at it.

Its not the same, the same way a friendly at home poker game is not the same as a poker game at the casino
It would be nice to have an unranked option, but wins should not count towards objectives or events.

**SUGGESTION, the Version/Season # used for OFF-Seasons should be the same as the Season # that would follow it (since that is what the Buff Metas will match)

Or at least call it a xx.5 season #. (ie, next season is 20, so call the off-season that follows that either 20.5 or 21, prior to the actual season 21).
(currently, they have planned to call the off-season # the same as the season that just ended (even though they will have different Buff Meta's)
