Pulled this guy from titan. Ngl he was my most wanted pull from the titan just cos of that animations. Was super pumped to pull him..

...until I started to use him. Ik he needs to be awakened to be good and all, but bruh 3 min on rol without recoils and all? How is bro 4.5/5 in damage?

Well, dear whoever is working for balancing program, please do him some justice and Amp up the damage. Please don't look at Alisson or MSD playing and decide his fate, that's some black magic or something idk I can't pull it off.

Yeah. I found him cool too. Took him to r4 and nearly max-sigged him but the juice simply isn't worth the squeeze. For all the stress of playing him perfectly, the damage simply isn't there.

Now he's sitting at the top of my roster looking sad and waiting for a buff.

Spider-punk needs awaken ability.. I have mine above sig50. You need the opponent to use either sp1 or sp2 and dex their attack.. once the crowd level reach 200 to 300(max) .. use Spider-punk sp2 and follow the mini game up or down (3) then quickly reach back up to sp1 and parry sp1 or dex their attack and counter and sp1.. its better if Spider-punk has 300 crowd for more rupture damage.. btw, pair him with Hulk relic.

If you have Mantis.. then you have an idea on how to build up the mixed emotions (20 max) thru intimidate or infuriate.. then use sp2 for big damage.. repeat the procedure until opponents are zero hp..

Although both employ different sequence.. both require build up before the big damage payout.

I dupped him last week and imo he's really fun and has a lot of control in the fight. Has an indefinite taunt during the entire fight which can be either really good or something bad when fighting someone difficult to evade. Having to rush from sp2 to sp1 it's kinda frustrating so i just like to get the ruptures over and over again. He definitely needs at least a little buff to the ruptures

If you're concerned about that you can just build power to nearly 3 bars before baiting their special and popping sp2. That way you barely got to build anything before throwing a sp1. A lot of champs that enjoy chaining sp2 and sp1 enjoy this strat like Zemo.

I did a lot of research and watched alot of videos on him. Yea, i heard his sig is a must and all, but no matter what against rol ws, he takes like 3 min at r1 7 star. Will sig 200 makes his damage 2x more? I don't know about that. I hope it's true tho

I do play mantis, and she shows her strength. You can see the numbers. But here, his numbers get to 18k per sp1 burst after an sp3 and 4 sp2 ruptures with almost full duration. Pretty sure alot of champs have that much damage even in base hits.

I legit want to r3 him, even though i have only 2 r3 at the moment. I'm a huge spiderman fan, and love his animations. I would not mind if he was like 1 min 45 on ws, I really wanna like him. Guess I'm just too disappointed.

I hope I pull his dupe in next crystal tho. I hope you are true and awakening him will make him 2x better.

I've had spider punk at 6* r5 sig200 since launch and I can't stress this enough: Don't use the sp1 unless the opponent is almost dead, or you're sure it'll knock them out.

The sp1 consumes all ruptures and just stops any and all momentum in the fight. If the opponent survives, you'll have to build back up to an sp2/ sp3 again while doing basic dmg along the way. Also the way it scales off rupture duration is just not a fun mechanic.

Instead it's wayyy better to let the ruptures tick, they'll take a few seconds longer than the instant bursts but end up dealing as much, if not more dmg over time. It'll keep a constant flow of dmg going for the entire fight too. If you run cides, sp3 only rotation works quite well on him. If you don't run cides, sp2 only is the way imo.

General thoughts would be that he definitely wants to be awakened and sigged up. But his dmg is very respectable. I feel like people tend to drag him by saying its awful, but you gotta remember he's a ramp up champ. His dmg scales with the crowd, which starts at 0 (150 in bgs) and goes up to 300. For shorter fights its often tough to build him up fully, so going for the sp3 in the first fight of a quest is a good way to get going (builds up crowd).

Hard disagree, I have him duped at 7* R2 at sig 50- and I’m downing r3 Onslaughts in BG’s in 50-60 seconds at 100% health.
You can hate his play style all you’d like, but calling him objectively not worth the investment or effort- is factually incorrect. He just has a very specific rotation, to maximize his damage.
In BG’s especially he ramps at a very very fast rate, because he starts at 150 of his crowd charges (two parry’s and he’s at 200- which greatly increases his damage)

So I got him early. Immediately took him to r5a and sig 200 because I loved what I saw. After diving deep into learning his playstyle, I love this champ. Learning his rotation takes a bit, and you gotta get comfortable dashing in and out to intercept and parry-evading, AND managing the opponent's power (key, especially with the dupe). He also def loves not just the dupe, but high sig.

The ONLY thing I would change about him is the Instant Rupture damage being based on the duration left on your Rupture debuffs - feel like when he gets rebalanced it should just be based on the number of debuffs. Having damage dependent on a timer makes it feel a little rushed, and you will straight up just NEVER be able to hit max damage capability. Def something for the devs to look at.

Now, that being said, he does MASSIVE damage when you take the time to learn him and invest in him and play him right. He's a dope champ and I'm so glad I invested in him. RoL times don't matter man - but you also are probably not using him correctly because he's absolutely faster than that, even unduped.

Also, saying Alisson or MSD aren't good examples of his damage potential is backwards, lol. Learn how to use him and you'll have a blast, just like they and I and many others are. Trust me.

I'm running cides here, so I went straight for the sp3. R5 ascended sig200 (unboosted) btw.

I used an sp3 on the ws fight, so I able to max out the crowd in that fight. With class disadvantage, that fight took me 1:26 secs, if I recall correctly. (Remember that is just the ramp up fight)

As a result of finishing the last fight with 300 crowd, he started this fight on 150 crowd charges (bgs starting point). I got to an sp3; used it, and she went down shortly after. Sure it's not game breaking dmg, but it's decent.
