Kabam pls bring the super event back ASAP

marinegod_ytmarinegod_yt Member Posts: 4
Ever since the super event has gone , my interest in playing the game has just decreased that much , I can't be asked to play with a event quest , or do arenas for just 1 revive and 25 units as opposed to all the other useful rewards we got during the super event . Just bring it back as soon as possible kabam it was one of the biggest W moments that u had executed recently

We just got done with this. Can we move on to another topic? If you don't wanna play the game then move on. Just saying. But all in all. Just to intrigue you and probably some others. Before this trial run, what made you decide to play? Honestly motivation to play a game doesn't come from trial runs. It comes from somewhere else. So like we had a trial run and "oh bring it back or I'm gonna leave" well cool leave. There are others that still play regardless.

I'm not rude. If honesty is rude then idk. I'm just saying there are lots of post about this same thing. Would you want to have a forum all about bring dse back?

I ain't tryna be rude I just stated that the super event was really helpfull progression wise ad would be good if it became permanent , meanwhile the current thing is just stale

They asked Dorky why they were rude, because they were, not you. Nearly everyone wants the super daily event back.
    Again wasn't rude.

My motivation to play a game exactly come from some "trial runs".

Actually, I thought it was a bit rude. The OP did not say "bring the Super Daily back or I'm going to leave." They said their motivation to play decreased. Which is not nearly the same thing.

The Super Daily is an engagement tool. Its intent, the literal goal of it being added to the game is to increase player engagement - to motivate them to want to play more. When you imply that someone who says "my motivation to play decreased" is just whining and threatening to quit, that belies the fact that this is literally what the devs want to hear. They want to hear that players were more motivated to play under the Super Daily, and by extension they are less motivated when it is gone. Because that means it was doing what it was supposed to be doing, and thus there's good reason to bring it back (provided the gameplay data backs up those player assertions).

When you say "honestly motivation to play a game doesn't come from trial runs. It comes from somewhere else" I'm sure the devs would like to know where that is, because they thought the Super Daily might actually work. If it was all going to be for nothing, it would have been useful to know that before they put all that work into it.
Well if I was. I apologize. But that's kind of how I got everyone's interpretation of bring sde back. It was an engagement tool but if they were to remove calender shards that some might like to collect for a big opening, I would have kept that. Also relic stuff as well. Everyone is different and that is understandable but when it come to lack of motivation because it's gone for now, makes me think otherwise. For example act 8 exploration was my motivation because I wanted to progress. People can still be motivated, but when it tears the community apart like in the previous week, it don't sit right. If I was doing something like sde. I would have asked the community about what they wanted versus removing stuff, and doing something totally different. But that's me.

I agree with Dork, quit asking to bring back the Super daily event, been plenty of posts saying the same thing. Once Kabam makes a decision on whether to bring it back with all the positive feedback, all of you crying to bring it back can rejoice.

Dorky Dave dodged the underlying issue, which is some people wanting to leave the game because it feels too grindy over time. People get burned out. The Super Event was mitigation for the feeling of the grind, and that’s why everyone loved it. It made the game more enjoyable even if it wasn’t gamebreaking. So to say “move on if you don’t like us taking away the trial event” is very out of touch with the direction that the game needs to go in order to keep players interested.

Everyone is forgetting that IT WAS A TEST.
We don't even know if it was a test to replace the current events permanently or what was the purpose of testing.

And when you’re Valiant and you’ve 100% completed acts 1-8, Necropolis, SOS, there isn’t much in the game to motivate you to logon other than Battlegrounds and Alliance obligations of which none count towards any of the 22hr events. The rewards for all of this are also outdated and need a buff as starting to not be worth the effort. So the Super Event did its job of keeping me engaged, great rewards for logging and playing. There isn’t a whole lot in the game to keep me engaged and motivated to continue at the moment, other than habit because but I’ve been playing for nearly 10 years. When act 9 comes out my motivation will be to complete that, when the next SOS comes out my motivation will be to compete that. Until then my motivation is purely habit and eventually it might not be enough. Super event keeps accounts ticking along, you can see the change, how close you are to another 7* or getting the next rank up. It provides motivation external to content which is great for when there is a lull in content.

@Wozzle007 , exactly. Nowadays, I log in and sometimes just log off (Kinda like opening the fridge multiple times knowing very well there isn't anything in there).

I've tried playing content with 5*'s instead of the 6* & 7* but for some reason, it just doesn't have the same feeling as playing with the top roster. DSE helped with that. Guaranteed rewards compared to the current events (and just better). Tbh, I haven't even done any of the 22hr events except for Level Up since DSE ended.

Well I still haven't explored act 6 yet and the variants I still have to do. As well as carina challenges.

People have preferences which I understand. But I like to collect shards for an opening and when those are removed. How will I collect certain shards? For example. When the weekly shards were removed during the event, that's 4 crystals I could have had. And the embers were gone so how will I level up my relics.

Given the option I would prefer a guaranteed 7* every 20 days compared to the 3 Paragon crystals over 21 days that will almost certainly be 3x 4* champs. Also you can use the stores to get the relic stuff to level them up. The massive benefits of what was in the Super Event for me, far outweighs any negatives for a few trivial things weren’t included in it.
