My r2 Silk kills almost anything in one sp2, and she can take Onslaught so that's a pretty big plus, neither of them can take Photon or Serpent though so it's hard to tell. Speed wise they're about the same, maybe Sunspot slightly faster because of how fast he gains power but it's not a noticeable difference. I have both and if you play Silk extremely aggressive going for corner intercepts even while they have a bar or two of power (doesn't matter if they throw it cause the evade does the rest) you can get pretty quickly to 1.5 bars and after that the fight is just over within the next 5-10 seconds. So, I'm gonna say Silk purely because I can play like a moron thanks to the special evade safety net and finish with 100% 💀Edit: also crit resistance can mess with Sunspot's sp2 damage, Silk's sp2 will hit hard regardless of crit resistance cause of the fat sunder.

Silk is one of the best photon counters lol. She can evade + dex photon specials, Same agaisnt serpent. She can dex serpent sp2.Silk is my favourite photon counter, She is one of the best photon counter imo. She is not the best against serpent, but can work.

Yeah but you have to miss first and time it perfectly so you're done with sp2 right before untouchable cool down ends, she's not a good counter. Serpent she straight up can't do you will timeout, dread shuts down all burst damage no exceptions. Most of her damage comes from bursts lol have you ever actually tried it? Cause I sure have and it did not go well 😂
Sunspot. One sp1 and sp2 then game over. Especialy when awakend and put highsig then dont have to care how to control sp.
Before I got Silk as a 7* and awakened her, I used Sunspot nearly every deck of BGs. For the past few seasons though, I never run Sunspot anymore, but I do run Silk.Still both great champs, but I find I get more uses out of Silk. At least of late.

Though sunspot has the power gain from heavy so maybe it balances to both needing the same amount of time. Before I got Silk as a 7* and awakened her, I used Sunspot nearly every deck of BGs. Technically I guess you dont really *need* him since he doesnt work for that many skill defenders and the classes he does, would have other nukes that can be used as well, like for e.g silk for mystics other science

Cause I sure have and it did not go well 😂 We when I use silk against photon, I never go for heavy chain. It works pretty well for me.And I tried her against serpent in war and got a solo. Like I said She can work against serpent but maybe she's slow for bgs I agree.

Sunspot can do serpent well if you learn the fight. I’d say he’s one of the best counters outside the mystic class
Anyone who says Sunspot doesn’t realize Silk has both more damage and more matchups she can do.
Ah that’s fair I didn’t consider that but I could swear I’ve seen a great sunspot vs serpent takedown before. I think I might actually be playing silk wrong because I’m not getting the times other people are. Can someone tell me what’s ideal for her? I’ve seen some great stuff with her (and gotten good results out of her) but I’ve been going sp3 rotation with my r2 and that usually does the job but it’s obviously slower. The sp2 rotation never seems to kill everything for me
The amount of times I’ve gone for sp2 with sunspot and he doesn’t crit has made me drop him in favour of silk. I have both R2 and she does so much more. Such a good onslut counter, plus all those annoying mystics. Like others said tho, you need to play her aggressively.

Does silk need to be awakened?
