Why does everyone I know act like spiderman is so bad

They act like he is the worst 7 star but I just got him, tried him out with class disadvantage, no boosts just synergies and hit a 92k sp2. That's pretty solid

It's not that Spidey is bad but the science class is just too stacked that Spidey is outshined by a lot of champs.
Def not the worst 7* as silver sable exists 😶‍🌫️

His buff was more than good; and makes him a really useful champion for a newer account; which was possibly the aim.

However, it wasn't enough to make people who already had better options rank him, when he's in arguably the strongest class.

He's got pretty decent utility; and can keep a match incredibly well-controlled with his Taunts. However, he really needs Awakened to access his full utility; which is problematic for a seven-star champion. Also, he's got a really tight window for damage, ideally following a rotation of SP1-SP1 into SP2; and really can't access reliably high damage unless he can Parry-stun the opponent to build up Taunts prior to the SP2.

However, if you can Parry-stun the opponent; and they won't shrug-off your debuffs, he's a good option, and fun to play.

I don’t think he’s bad but he wants sigs and is easily overshadowed. If you have a developed roster you have no reason to use him as a 7*, and if he’s your first 7* he wants sigs anyway. Kind of a bad spot to be in

He’s not bad at all he just doesn’t fit my play style for me. He’s honestly really good with the SP2 Damage and taunt on hits
