Sauron Sig ability

So my 7s Sauron decided to dupe himself for the 4th time. I guess it’s asking for attention. Read over his signature ability, it says

At the start of the fight, if the opponent inflicts bleed or incinerate while degeneration is active, inflict the same effect passive for xxx damage.

My question is and I need someone to enlighten me, when is Sauron ever begin the fight with degeneration in effect?? Is there any use for this ability?

Please help me out this Dino in good use…..

AFTER the start of the fight? as in, node or mastery (lookin’ at you, bleeding edge) that trigger from the start of the fight.

don’t mistake me, I coulda sworn it said that as well. and possibly since got corrected language? not sure…
