I'm going to use this post to refer to Ultron fight as well. I used Aarkus and the first time I apply the armor shatter it goes normal, the second time the duration seems to decrease and I lose the timing to apply it again and get hit

The timer is not invisible; this is the rarer Ultron. He just evades whenever and however he wants. Two different champs, the more common variety that’s been in the crystals forever is the one with the green timer.

He's been bugged for an incredibly long time then. I can't even count how many times I've had him evade multiple hits in a row or on back to back combos. For years he has been simply evading whenever he wants.

This Ultron has a more complicated evade, and could benefit from increased HUD indicators. The way he has always worked, is that every 7 seconds he gains his evade, which lasts until it is triggered. You can think of it as an indefinite evade charge from something like Bullet Time that comes on a timer instead of stun triggers

I noticed this recently actually: I was using an evade counter champ, don’t remember who exactly but I kept getting “evade failed” every single hit the entire fight, not just every 7 seconds

This is Ultron Drone, one of the most annoying with vague ability from Kabam. He even evade when face with Magneto! I don’t know is this a bug or what

Aarkus’ armour shatter is based on the amount of armour breaks the opponent has. 5 seconds for each armour break. Since he doesn’t apply armour breaks when the opponent is shattered, the second armour shatter will only be 5 seconds.

Labyrinth Ultron’s timer is invisible and he can evade mid attack just like a champ can also evade mid-attack if running the Nick Fury/Antman, quake synergy.

This Ultron doesn't have a timer on his evade unlike the other one so it's hard to say I think you should use Arkus or someone with strong armor breaks

It's always been the case,because when everyone else got updates to show their workings LolTron just got left collecting dust, hell we don't even have a 6* version yet. Still rocking his years old kit that is like a tweaked version of old AOU Ultron. Hopefully if he ever comes as a 6/7* we have a better and more visual kit.

There are lots of problems with AI at this moment, but in this case there is nothing odd. This is how Ultron Classic works like in forever and is nothing out of ordinary evading your hit.
