Valiant Crystal Reels - Most dishonest thing in MCOC?

How is it that a pull that has a 0.5% chance of being pulled present in 99% of my final reels?

I’m used to crystal reels being a “gotcha” mechanic but I mean this one feels gross at this point.

The point is, the ones who have been playing for a long time are obviously aware that it means nothing and it's " entertainment" but there are a lot of new summoners who probably don't. They might see the spin and be like " that was real close, let's try another..."

Then there's me

I know the reel isn't real but I still open 1 or 2 crystals once in a while just to get disappointed ( like there's a shortage of it )
