Is there a narrative for the Maestro's return next saga?

If I remember correctly, The Maestro was absorbed into the ISO infinity stone that he has created by Thanos, and Thanos putted it in his Infinity gauntlet, and as I recall this is the last we have seen of Maestro.
Well, how did he return? And how will this impact the content, will it at all? Will he be featured in future eqs and story mode?

I remember when The Overseer came out (it was during act 7 was going) I've theorized Kang would bring a younger version of the Maestro from across time to help him in his conquest, and thats how he'd be introduced, but that didn't happen.

I’m guessing based on the saga he must’ve gone into hiding after his defeat and now he’s back

Tyler (the dialogue writer) said he'll clarify this by the end of the year. But yeah, basically the maestro is dead👀

I'm hoping they have a good lore reason for his return since canonically he is supposed to be dead, at least the version of Maestro we fought in act 4. After his defeat there, he fled to Battleworld (the centre of the battlerealm) where he was given power by the Chronoserpent, and eventually killed as part of the Marvel Realm of Champions storyline.

WAIT, how do u know the events of Mroc are AFTER his defeat in mcoc? And how did he break free from being in the ISO-8 stone?

I've beated The Maestro the month Mole man was introduced, but I've started playing like in 2016.
Ok now I've checked the cutscenes again and I see The Maestro was simply knocked down, not absorbed into the stone or anything, but where is anything between past his defeat and his reign in Mroc addressed? Truly I haven't played Mroc much, only played like in the last day it was avaliable for the compensation lol

You can only really know the full story if you looked at the lore of Marvel Realm of Champions while the game was active as the original idea (before the game shut down) was that the story between MCOC and MROC was going to be interlinked with events happening in both games at the same time. The Chronoserpent was also meant to be a villain spanning both games, but sadly this didn't happen.

One of the big story themes of that game was "Who killed the Maestro?". You learn that the many houses of Battleworld (like the House of Iron where Silver Centurion comes from, or the Temple of Vishanti where Sorcerer Supreme comes from) were all under the rule of The Maestro. However, he mysteriously died one day and left a power vacuum which all the houses tried to fill in thus creating the games setting where you fight other players in PvP matches.

They kept the mystery of Maestro quite well and it was intended to be revealed over a much longer period, but we know from a set of Codex Entries in the game that Maestro was left for dead on the surface of Battleworld after his defeat at the hands of Thanos. However, he vanished for some time and returned significantly older and much stronger, donning grey skin and a missing eye. When he made his appearance on Battleworld, he went and conquered the entire planet killing the planets version of Steve Rogers and also splitting Wakanda into multiple fragmented islands.

    _________

Based on the Elegy Comic (you can find it if you search MROC elegy comic, theres some youtube videos showing them off), you learn that all the houses of Battleworld worked together to kill him and it took The Ancient One using the multiverse to bring together barons from all realities of Battleworld to bring him down.

However, the Chronoserpent reveals itself and we learn it was using Maestro as a guardian to let it feed on the planet and all the fighting that took place on it. The end of the comic has the inhabitants of Battleworld summon Galactus to directly fight it, and everyone on the planet evacuates to the rest of Battlerealm. The planet of Battleworld was destroyed and Maestro was truly finally killed by Glykhan in that comic.

(We also know from event quests in MCOC that the planet of Battleworld is now the host of the World Tree, which has been the subject of multiple other event stories and also what is keeping the Multi-verse galactuses at bay)

    __________

I'll attach a few images of some stuff from Realm of Champions since I have them, might be of interest to some people:

This could be an alternate counterpart, our Maestro (who's cosmic).
