The hypocrisy and insanity of this is beyond goofy. Plus here comes a repeat of the the MoleMan drama. 3.5 years late and coupled with the Serpent news… just wow… way to go beyond a simple L.

Kingpin wasn’t nerfed. He was fixed. His ISO-8 Debuff wasn’t functioning as his abilities stated, allowing for his AAR to stack beyond -65%.

To quote his abilities, “While this Degeneration is active, the opponent suffers -50% Attack Rating and -65% Defensive Ability Accuracy.”

I understand the reduction shouldn’t have stacked based on the description of the L1. However, it’s been 3.5 years. It clearly hasn’t been game breaking or they would’ve noticed and fixed it sooner. At some point you just have to take the loss and move on. Man everyone is getting adjusted down except Serpent. What madness.

Read his abilities again. It doesn't say "per Degeneration" or "for every Degeneration active." It simply says, "While this Degeneration is active..."

2024 is quite the roller coaster. Almost all the champ releases and rebalance information has been awful but the content announcements have been great. My emotions are in a blender right now.

Unless you believe Kingpin's intention was to also reduce an opponent's Attack Rating by 100% (or more), it's pretty clear. That same special also states that Attack Rating is reduced by 50%. Two stacks didn't give the opponent 100% reduction of attack rating. If that didn't stack, the AAR shouldn't have stacked.

Vega states the exact same thing in the video linked in the original post. Clearly you didn't watch it.

I agree with your take that they probably should’ve just left Kingpin as is but wdym by “everyone is getting adjusted down”? Even if we’re including bug fixes, the only recent ones I can think of is Shocker (which was really only relevant to Maestro and a few random nodes), Zemo via the root fix, and Bullseye who definitely deserved it. Am I forgetting about some other things?

Yes. But it doesn’t give a stack limit like almost every other significant buff/debuff or ability in the game. An easier fix would have been updating his description.

Also not to nitpick and not saying this would be a huge deal, but Galan's sp2 has been bugged for years now too and it still doesn't apply the correct amount of incinerates lmao.

Is there a rebalance team? I thought it was just a crtl+c and crtl+v machine with ChatGPT replacing the champion names.

I'm hoping Dust, Bishop, etc not giving burst damage when a debuff is purified isn't going to be added to that list. I only recently saw the forum post floating around, so I'm hoping this is relatively new, and worst case it's fixed by October's build.

Probably will be alongside the double medium reparry that’s turned into any hit can now be reparried. If they fix it Dust and Bishop might take damage back instead with the way it’s going

August was pretty good with BRB and Enchantress, and September is also looking pretty good as well.
