Please Slow Down

Kabam,

Please Slow Down.. don't throw so many things to do at once to your player base.

Let us enjoy the game while also enjoying life.

I know.many will say that you don't have to do everything but trust me things are lucrative and you want to do all, but it is extremely overwhelming at this time.

Try to spread your targets over months.
Thanks
One of your loyal MCOC player.

Main thing thats tedious is Arena, especially the 4* one. Before i started doing it , there was plenty of time for content (usually)

Most of what's going on is normal fights you'd accomplish anyways. Only difference is using saga champs and probably squeezing in a little arena for light the torch

It's really not. Calendars are automatic. You don't have to do anything except log in. And nearly all events atm are just doing fights. Which you'll do anyways

You don't have to do everything all at once, or even at all...no matter how desireable the rewards are. Sometimes it's not even about that. Many players get caught up trying to compete with others and "keep up with Joneses", and that's what overwhelms them. The Crucible and Act 9 is PERMANENT content so just pace yourself. It can wait. No need to rush to do anything.

Example: Necropolis started in November. So many players were competing to be the first to complete and explore it, just to be the first to do it. Why? The rewards weren't going anywhere. I didn't do my Necro run until December 24th lol...when I was ready and had time. I still haven't 100% explored it.

If you don't have game/life balance, then that's a you problem. Sorry, not sorry.

well for crucible there was a reward for being in the first 100 (i think, maybe more) people to fully explore it. I personally did a path the day it launched because i thought it would be fun to do it before it was fully optimized and properly routed.
but yeah if you feel like you’re overwhelmed with the content, pace yourself instead of asking for everyone else to wait for you to be ready

honestly i'm ok with this. i used to burn over 200 USD a month on this game alone.....part of it was me trying to keep up and play quite a bit of the content....then something changed and Kabam started to add way too much content....i got to the point where I realized i was never going to catch up because i couldnt play it all....and now i love it...i still spend money but more in the 20-50 range....and i don't play as much of the content. sometimes i'll even skip the side quests.

Right. You have to balance the game. I've skipped EQ and SQ a few times, just to take a breather.

I spend less time on the game, spend less money and enjoy the game more now than i did when I spent 200+ a month....win win at least for me....

You know what, I get it. I've been busy recently, and even I'm having difficulty catching up with all the stuff going on right now.

However, very little of it requires immediate attention. You do want to log in every day to get the daily calendar rewards, but nothing else is going to suddenly disappear or expire. You have some time to figure out the side quest, the sales, and the various events. It can look overwhelming, but we don't have any of those "if you miss it today you're screwed" things at the moment.

Here: I'll help you out a bit.

    1. Trader's outpost: you want to buy the banquet bundle. There's going to be four months of those, so you want to buy it every time it refreshes in the Trader's outpost.

    2. Side quest. The Big Trick is: the silver coins are entry tickets, the gold coins are portal overrides. Each side quest path has three paths, and there is a portal that will randomly send you to one of them. The thing you need to know is: go random first, let the game pick your first two paths. Then with your gold ticket, use the selector to pick the (hopefully) one path you didn't do to get full exploration.

    3. What you should be doing right now. Make a team with nothing but #Saga tagged champs, and then go autoplay them in some easy content. I prefer to do very low EQ (because there are units in there), others like to do Road to the Labyrinth (because it is very low energy). Start simultaneously earning points for Storm the Gates, Slow Burn and Light the Torch events. Storm the Gates and Slow Burn will earn you side quest entries (the silver and gold tickets/coins). Light the Torch will earn you the freebee rewards for the Games event. Open those crystals to earn points in the Opening Ceremony event. If you are free to play, you won't get far in the LtT event, but there's still a bunch of free units in there.

Once you have your feet stably under you, you can figure out the rest by watching content creator videos. But there really isn't *that* much you need to be actually doing. Its more there's a lot to figure out.

It's so stressful with these many events.
These things have a tendency to trap you with one wrong tap on something.
I didn't watch last two streams, I just don't have time. You open the game and there are stupid amount of things to take care of. Overcomplicated SQ have been massive pain for years. Shout out to richtheman for helping me with SQs over the years.
I come to forums to see if there are bugs I need to be careful of.

EQ, SQ, complicated traders outpost store. There are 99 SOLO EVENTS, wtf are even those. The complicated Login crystal which gives another currency, I don't even know what they are for.
Then there's AW. There will be AQ, but thanks to poorly excited raids we are free for 2 weeks.
The solo event UI is overly obnoxious and have a very poor design. We can't even get rid of pointless red notifications without tapping on one.

Idk... Im going to do my BG objectives and call it.
    Stress inducing piece of

It can be a bit overwhelming when new info comes out but you'll get your head around it in time.

Are u crazy or what ?? It's the 10 anniversary of the game the perfect time to release content + offers .
I don't think u want to be a loyal player in future 😂😂.
Like SoS fights it comes every 2 weeks but u can do in 30min 🤷.

For the rifts, what if the 3rd path thats left for last to use the selector on has rewards worse than one on the other 2 you already completed?

I don't even do SQ and EQ at all for over a year. I mean why should I if it's gonna stress me out?and to be honest, I'm not even interested doing act 9 as soon as it drops cos again its permanent. Rather focus on sos. Get that done and during the one month space before the next, probably Xmas, tackle act 9. It's simple

To me, SQ and EQ ain't worth the time and effort anymore, unless I WANT TO unlock Paragauntlet. Key words are WANT TO. which I haven't lately, so that's one less thing I have to worry about. I prioritze other parts of the game
